We enrolled our 8 month old puppy about a month ago. She had some really bad behaviors that had me so anxious and wondering if we had made a mistake in getting her. Elizabeth made great progress with her even that first week! I could cry right now because without This puppy program we would be in trouble! This isn't just a doggie daycare.

Your Dog’s Inn is a terrific daycare facility for your dog! It’s a place where your dog will learn manners and prosocial dog behaviors. Additionally, Elizabeth will help you learn how to reinforce at home what she’s taught your dog. This is not a place for your dog if all you want is for you and others to fawn all over your dog. Elizabeth has a wealth of knowledge about dogs and the dog industry, and is willing to share it. The facility is clean and orderly, and the dogs go on daily walks. Most importantly, my dog loves it here! I highly recommend the puppy program. It includes grooming and is a bargain!

Tucker has been going to Your Dogs Inn for training for two months. He was really hard for me to handle. Elizabeth has done an amazing job in Tuckers behavior. She is very knowledgeable in not only behavior but in feeding and the health of your dog. Tucker will graduate this Friday but he will continue to go there two days a week. Thank you Elizabeth for all your help and guidance. I highly recommend her facility. She is definitely the pack leader.

Professional, clean, and extremely knowledgeable. Gunner absolutely loves Elizabeth, and her daycare. We can't thank her enough for her help with behavior, food choices, and his overall health! He is such a happier dog, and truly living his best life! Thank you, The Kelley Family.

We are so thankful we found Your Dogs Inn. Elizabeth is the best at what she does. Our dog attended the puppy school program. Within the first week you could tell such a difference in her obedience. There is no other place like YDI where they get to be a dog and run on open land as a pack. Elizabeth wants the best for your dog. I can’t recommend her enough.

Not at all what I expected from a business owner. The way she speaks to potential clients and picks them apart before really knowing them and their pet is appalling. My dog is still very young and needs more socializing. Was not impressed with her method of introducing him to the other dogs. He was very curious and wanted to play with one dog then she allowed 3 other dogs in. One almost knocked me off my feet from jumping on me multiple times and she really didn't try hard to correct this behavior from the other dog. She proceeded to say my dog was shy, when in reality he was overwhelmed and scared. She marked him as aggressive because he tried to tell the other dogs to give him some space; they were crowding him and he was staying by me with his tail tucked (not aggressive body language if you ask me).She told me that we should not be crating my dog during the day while I'm at work because he needs robust play. Right now my pup can play around 30 mins at a time before getting tired and needing a nap. She told me he should not be sleeping in my bed and that was the first thing I needed to stop. She has a protocol for how to have your dog come through the front door which I think is great, but being unfamiliar with the building I had to carry my dog in and she told me I came through the door wrong and in the future she would not hesitate to call me and tell me I did that wrong or that I am not following the training she tells me to do with Archie. We already have some established commands and she told me she would be changing some of those too because they were wrong. She was more concerned with explaining her rules and telling me what I'm doing wrong then paying attention to the dogs. One peed on the floor right behind her and she did not notice until almost the end of the interview. When I was trying to exit with Archie I could not get out the door because the dogs were following us and she didn't notice at first, then took multiple tries to recall the dogs. This was our last option for daycare as most places wont take Archie because he is a Pitbull mix and all the others are full but he will not be going here. This type of "training" and aggressive guidance may be what some dog owners want but it's definitely not for me.

YDI and Elizabeth have been AMAZING. My old boy died just before my husband’s 40th birthday and I, rather impulsively, went out and found a dog. It has been a LONG time since I had a puppy but I knew I needed some help to avoid some of the behavioral issues I’d had before. Elizabeth was fantastic, incredibly accommodating and supportive. When I first took Aspen to her for a consultation she told me her rates and I must have made a face because she paused for a second, but I was blown away at how affordable she is!Everything went so well that I felt comfortable enough to get a second puppy, something I never would have dreamed if not for Elizabeth. She works just as much with you as she does your dog(s) and is a wonderful resource. With the weekly informational packets, to the report cards, and all of the advice and conversation I cannot imagine going anywhere else for my girls. This year has been crazy with losing one dog, inheriting one, and adopting two puppies. We never would have been able to do it if not for YDI :-)I'm adding this last part in response to a recent review that said Elizabeth was very judgmental about how she planned to train her dog. As someone that currently has TWO puppies under Elizabeth's care I can personally assure you that she has been extremely accommodating, helpful, and a fabulous resource. I'm a crazy person that has a full time job, a part time job, loads of other responsibilities, and two puppies that are thriving because of the help and guidance Elizabeth has provided to me and at an extremely reasonable rate.

This is by far the best doggie daycare around. My dogs have just thrived there! The dogs get an experience like no other daycare I have seen. They are able to run around and get the play they need without being forced into a small play area. She takes them on long walks where they are able to run and release their energy on her beautiful wide open land. It is well structured so the dogs know what they are expecting everyday. With its small size, they are able to get more individual attention. Elizabeth was so wonderful to my dying dog Walter. She would let me know when he was having a bad day and it gave me relief just knowing that he was in good hands while I was at work. She has taught me so much about dog behavior and food. You are not going to get this kind of care anywhere else. I just can't say enough about how much I love this place!

Edit: I also wanted to note that when I mentioned writing a review, she told me it would be deleted just like the rest of them. And then threatened me by saying that all day cares and training programs had a watch list of who not to accept and she put me on it. All because she didn't like that I had plans to go somewhere else for puppy training that worked better with my schedule. I do not recommend ever sending your pup here.I don't usually write bad reviews but I was not happy with the treatment I received from Elizabeth when I inquired about doggy daycare and training program for our puppy. I work a full time job and while I am home to care for our puppy, I can't step away in the middle of the day for training. I explained this to her and asked if there were other time options. Instead of going over other options, she told me that it was unethical to not train my dog and that I was being irresponsible and would not be allowed to her daycare unless we used her training services. There was no communication about how to make something work, instead it was critism about how I would train my dog. I would never be able to send my puppy to someone who treats possible customers like this.

I've been bringing my puppy to Elizabeth for training and boy did we need her! There was such a difference in the first week. Elizabeth is so knowledgeable in all aspects of dog life. She's training me as well as my dog so we can both have the best dog life! From diet to grooming, she does it all. My pup will continue with day care after training. I highly recommend Elizabeth and Your Dogs Inn.

Your Dogs Inn is a great place to have your puppy or dog trained. My pup is 5 months old now and has been in training of 6 weeks now. I noticed a big difference after the first week of training. Elizabeth does an excellent job and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is serious about the training and also the health and well being of your dog. If you follow her direction you will get a happy well adjusted dog that is well behaved and a great companion. Elizabeth also does a great job grooming your pet and also offers great dog daycare. My pup will continue on in daycare after her training is done.. She needs the exercise that is provided at Your Dog's Inn.

Terrible service. I called to get more info regarding doggie daycare care. The girl who runs the business called me and was totally crazy. Telling me that because I work 4 days a week, I am a terrible dog Mom and unable to properly take dog of animals. She went on to tell me that how she makes dogs better and if I think my dog is “too perfect” for her then she’s not interested. When in reality, all I told her is my dog has a lot of energy but overall is a well behaved dog who listens. This woman is nuts. I highly suggest taking your dog else where!

Having a puppy during covid is challenging for socialization. I was looking for daycares and found Your Dog’s Inn. I have been so very happy with my experience so far! Elizabeth is so knowledgeable about everything dog and truly wants what’s best for them. Her daycare is clean and affordable. My dog is able to run off leash with other dogs on Elizabeth’s huge property and learn basic commands and expected behaviors. She also grooms my dog at no extra cost.I would highly recommend Your Dog’s Inn, Elizabeth, and her expertise to anyone who is looking for a well run, structured daycare, with plenty of freedom to play for their dog.

I've been going to Your Dog's Inn for many years and I can say that if I hadn't had Elizabeth help me with my dog that I don't think she would have had as good of a life if I hadn't gone to YDI. Elizabeth is very patient, courteous, and looks to see what's best for both the dog and the family. I would highly recommend Your Dog's Inn if you want to have a great dog for life.

Not only have I spent multiple summers volunteering and working at Your Dog’s Inn, I’ve taken my three dogs to attend daycare here. The care, time, and effort Elizabeth (the owner) puts into educating dog owners and helping to better the life of every dog who walks through the door is absolutely amazing. I have learned how to raise a well rounded dog, how to feed a dog a proper diet, and how to manage my one dog’s behavioral disorder, all thanks to Elizabeth and Your Dog’s Inn. You’ll find no better place for your dog(s) than YDI, and you’ll be happy with the results you see in them.
