“Went here for the first time the other night to get fancy steaks to cook at home, could not have been happier. An excellent cut of meat and very helpful staff. Also grabbed the biggest cabbage I have ever seen. We will be returning soon!”

“Amazing selection of different meals, sandwiches, grilled & fried foods. Staff is always friendly and attentive. My only two complaints would be it takes an incredibly long time for food to be made, even without a line & I’ve never gotten olives on my italian (not sure if that’s just how they make them?) Otherwise it’s an awesome mom & pop store with all the amenities of a grocery store, butcher, sandwich shop & liquor store all in one!”

“I love the small footprint of this store. It has a good variety of all the essentials, without being completely overwhelming. It's always easy to get in/out, and it's one of the cleanest and best organized Hannaford stores. Always friendly staff too!!!”
“Update: They are starting to update their store! I hope they continue to butcher there own meat and offer that slightly different stuff that you can't get at the big chain places. As this updates, I hope a beer cave is a consideration. Certainly carry a huge selection of beers and wines and alcohol for a small store, feel like a beer cave would allow for more products and take care of the overcrowding. The people (other than one old, heavier set lady who I haven't seen there in a bit) are great. They really do a great job watching the front of the store, and getting people up to help get people checked out as quickly as they can. So no 60 minute shopping and 60 minute check-out lines here. Thanks to you all.Small in town Grocery Store. The people who work there are very nice, maintaining that small town feel. I agree with the reviewer who said an update is needed. In fact, with the larger chain moving into town and even with their loose partnership, they could really give this place a makeover. The liquor/beer section is decent, but a beer cave and strategic layout of alcohols could be a good sales point. I feel this store could showcase a modern butcher shop with some local meats (the meats here are better when they are fresh), offer more locally sourced produce, and almost give it a Bow Street Market kind of feel, but with the more affordable product the town currently supports. I do use this place when I need to grab some quick stuff I forget, but with a little makeover as suggested, I'd do my entire shopping here because it's close and easy. Just my two cents.”

“Went here to fix the bathroom sink & did some shopping after we finished the Job. I have to say this is the cleanest dollar general store we’ve been in to date in central Maine. The staff were very polite and helpful. Everyone was doing something in the store which was really nice to see. 10/10 recommend going to this location.”
“Didn't think I would find Caribbean foods in Lewiston Maine, but there it is. I wasn't sure about the selections, so I limited my purchases to hot sauces. But I plan to be back to try some of the many other products lining their shelves. I'll have to get so e photos on my next visit”
“All the pharmacy staff are so friendly and helpful. Prescriptions have always been correct, and they really work hard if there was a miscommunication from a doctor's office.I've also gotten flu vaccines here as well as other vaccines. Never a problem.You know it's a great team behind the counter when you're on a first name basis.”
“Friendly staff and outstanding customer service. I had an issue with a product and they they went above and beyond to make it right and ensure that the issue was resolved. I mentioned it to the cashier checking me out and she was extremely friendly and made sure that I was taken care of. This level of customer service is rare these days and it is refreshing to see a company that cares about their customers.An example of a good company is not what they do when everything goes right it's how they handle situations when things go wrong. “I was having a problem with refilling my medication-back and forth from the docts. office to pharmacy because the directions were not written correctly + insurance would not cover it (what a mess).During my last conversation I was lucky enough to speak with Autumn who took the time to call my docts. office and straitened everything out. She even called me back to let me know it was all taken care of and when my prescription would be ready for pick up. Great customer service is hard to find these days and for this I am grateful.Thank you”

“I would say that this is a medium-sized Hannaford and mid-aged Hannaford. Nothing special, nothing bad. Can get busy at peak times with a mix of people and personalities from all walks of life. This can make the parking lot an adventure at times. The employees and customer service here is top notch.”
“This place is convenient for its location for sure ..the area it’s located at may be a lil rough for some that don’t know the area well ..but from what I seen as well as experienced every time I go their is the staff/workers area very decent people to everyone..they know must of their customers greatly or at least the treatment reflects that .. very cool to see that some businesses have that family kinda feeling they treat all theirCustomers like their the most important clients around ..some people may not have any people in their world that cares enough to ask about their day but this store does that ..very cool to see that people are still friendly to everyone that enters this location as they do ….”

“Went into shaws on Tuesday afternoon and I was standing in line at the checkout.a lady came up behind me because she needed a carrying basket so she picked it up and said too me that she had to walk all the way down from the entrance on the right side of the building and all the way to the Left side of the store to grab the basket at the checkout line so I said to her that it doesn't make sense because at night the entrance is closed on the left side of the building and you have to walk over to get a basket at the entrance that is closed because their isn't any at the self checkout and during the day time you can use that entrance but you have to walk over by the self checkouts to get a basket and you have to realize some people have handicaps . PS as I was talking to the lady I was getting a dirty look from a lady that was bagging peoples goods and I believe she is a manager so that was inappropriate but I did give 4 Stars because it's a easy fix someone has to pay attention .”
“cashier was very nice and had some different things from other stores. definitely tired of Walmart so was good to find some different stuff. also I was able to get my sister's favorite coffee which she can't find anywhere in her town in Pennsylvania so gonna mail it to her for Xmas along w other stuff . she will be very happy!!! glad our dollar general had it in stock ?⛄ ?☕”
“With all the 1-stars and negativity, I feel I should bring some positivity. All of my experiences here have been great. Patient and helpful.Something to keep in mind, everyone. These folks fill prescriptions for hundreds of people each week, and can only work during business hours. Some prescriptions may not be filled immediately.There is a lot that goes into pharmacy work, that we could never really understand. If your prescription is urgent, call ahead and ask about them. These folks will work with you. Please don't be rude. We are all only human.”
