Our two daughters went this year for the first time and they can’t stop talking about the great activities and experiences they had. Thanks for taking care of our kids for 3 and half long weeks 🙂

Looks like a nice place to send the kids although the sign says it's for girls.

I cannot express how deeply disappointed and heartbroken we are by our experience with this camp. After carefully selecting and registering my kids for the only session that worked for us—after speaking directly with camp staff to ensure everything was in place—we were blindsided weeks later by the news that our registration had been canceled. And we only found out because I followed up.
The reason? Another family had called the camp and said they didn’t want other kids from back home attending. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the camp chose to accommodate this absurd request at the expense of my children. The level of unprofessionalism and complete lack of consideration for my kids’ feelings is beyond comprehension.
My children had been excited for this experience, only to have it ripped away from them because of favoritism and unethical decision-making. The worst part is knowing that we ignored past negative reviews because a neighbor—ironically, the same family who caused this—had recommended the camp. I regret not listening to those warnings.
No child should ever be treated this way. No parent should have to explain to their kids why a camp they were so eager to attend suddenly decided they weren’t welcome. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone, and I sincerely hope other families don’t have to endure the same heartbreak we did.

Our daughter (10) had a wonderful time during the inaugural summer season. We will be sending her back this summer. The staff is so warm and engaging. We were also very impressed by the range of activities offered and we are so pleased how smooth the entire experience was for us and our daughter. We would recommend highly!

Horrible place where they allow bullying. Terrible children who are cruel and have parents who don't know who to raise decent people. Don't send your child here.

My child had the best first summer at KPT! The staff creates a unique experience that brings the joy and magic of camp in just two weeks. The director, Jackie keeps parents informed with amazing nightly blogs and photos. My daughter can’t wait to go back again this summer!

Came here for their annual Family Camp again this year. Kids love it (they don't stop talking about it all year long). They love the freedom they get to choose their activities (and so do we as parents) and we get a chance to join them, do another activity or sit by the lake, relax and catch up on our reading. Truly awesome. And for those who feel they must work, some areas of the camp now have wifi!

My 6 1/2 year old daughter attended KPT and had hands down the best time. From the attentive leadership team to her counselors who she ADORED we couldn’t have asked for a better summer camp experience. Home for just over a week and she’s already asking how many days until she returns. Thank you KPT

I was a sailing counsellor at Kippewa in the summer of ‘78 & ‘79. We had a fantastic time. Great counsellors and kids alike. Lots of names come to mind but too many to mention. I hope to make a visit again soon as we are in Maine now until September.“Friends, friends, friends,We will always be,Whether together in bright stormy weather,Camp Kippewa will keep us together”Can’t remember the rest, but I was on various photos up in the lodge and down in Marty’s house. Happy memories. ?
