Wall paper peeling off the wall, no coffee, no hair dryer, needs lots of up dating. House keeper was awesome, got me extra towels etc.

Amazing service!!! We got to Millinocket at 11 pm and the inn worker was nice enough to reply to my phone call and drive out at 12 am to let us stay at the motor lodge. The rooms are a bit dated but they are very clean and there were no bugs of any kind.

Chris is extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Rooms are nostalgic, very clean and beds were comfortable. The wall paper is a bit outdated and the door handles to the outside and hallway need to be replaced but I was looking for a reasonable place to stay for a couple nights and I got it! There is a microwave, small fridge, hair dryer, and tv, I didn't need any more than that. Highlands Tavern attached is beautiful, has hardwood walls, tile floors, extremely clean, has a Touch Tunes juke box, 4 well maintained pool tables (and I am a billiards player), drink costs are reasonable and the bartender April is a sweetheart!! The Chinese restaurant attached was pretty good, convenient and I was able to order online, however when I walked over to pick up my order it looked like they were in the middle of renovations and even though they were "open" there were no lights on. Will definitely stay there the next time we go up!!! Thank you Chris and April!!!

This was The first place we found that would let me have my parrot with me! So grateful for that. It's a very clean and very cozy place to stay. The views of the ? in the fall changing color is breathtaking! We really enjoyed this little place!

The lodge is dated and very basic but was comfortable and quiet. The beds were comfortable as well. Chris, the owner, couldn't have been more welcoming. What a nice guy! There was a little problem with the bill where there was some difficulty adding an extra charge which I had incurred, so he just said, "Forget it. On the house".Rhonni, who was behind the bar at the Highlands Tavern (which is affiliated with the Motor Lodge) provided excellent service. She engaged us in interesting conversation and happily answered all of questions about the local area. She also mentored us through the ordering of food from the Hang Wong Chinese restaurant, which is attached to the Highlands.I'm not sure I'll ever find myself in Millinocket again, but if I do, I'll definitely stay at the Pamola Motor Lodge!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room and bathroom was clean (a little outdated, but you’re paying $85), nice towels, and they even had a hair dryer, shampoo, and soap. Each room has an inside and outside access door (although upstairs rooms have no exit accessible from the outside door, just a balcony), there is a bar attached, and it’s next door to a Chinese food restaurant. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. I did have to check in at the bar, but it was simple and easy. 5 stars, and I will definitely be staying there again when I go back for another visit.

If you're looking just looking for a place without the frills...this is the place. Very friendly and service oriented. Its an old building which is in need of updating. The beds aren't the most comfortable and need to be replaced. BUT it's clean which goes a long way for me. And the staff goes out of its way to accommodate. If I'm in the area again, I will be staying there!

This place was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom floor was filthy, the lamp over our bed was hanging by wires, I woke up and found mouse tirds in the bathroom and my suitcase! The carpet was ducktaped, the walls sagging, and nobody was there when we came to check in. This place should be shut down it is so gross!!

Staff was nice. Room was dated and in need of a deep clean. Kept my shoes on the whole time. The bathroom flooe was sticky. It's a place to stay in a pinch but nothing to write home about.

The office of the front desk was closed and you have to go inside the building to the end of the hallway to locate the bar to find the owner. There were cracks inside the bathroom walls, cob webs everywhere, wallpaper falling off, ancient TV that didn't work, AC was hung on the very top of the wall and you can't possibly reached unless you're like 7 feet tall, both beds were sunk in like a crater, carpet smelled like cigarettes and mold, and 2 thin doors that didn't seem to lock properly. The night was long as we were in bed sunk in and unable to turn freely. The stinch of the room reminded me of a bad date spent in a hole in the wall bar with leftover odor of urine and cigarettes.

It was the perfect spot for what I needed to hike. Nothing fancy! A room, clean comfy bed and pillow, towels a fridge, micro, coffee maker. Chris the owner was very nice and accommodating. If you need fancy not even sure you’ll find it way up here. There was aDunks, subway, McDonald’s, family dollar, HanaFord’s grocery store all near by. The Appalachian trail cafe for breakfast the day driving home was busy but great food- homemade donuts and bread yum!Be sure to stop at the NorthWoods trading post (17 min away near Baxter State Park) the food is great and cute little spot for shirts and souvenirsThanks again Chris- will be sure to stop in again next visit to BSP!

First night we had booked the owner said there was an issue. Didn’t even keep the reservation. Came back for our second stay, beds were dirty. There were actually hairs in the bed still! Gross bathroom. Horribly uncomfortable beds. Charging outlet didn’t even hold a charger in it. Worst experience I’ve ever had. We left for a different hotel after 2 hours.

The place is a dump. We arrived and the door was locked with a note on it that if the door is locked call “Chris “ we did and there was no response. We had to find another hotel. I called the booking agent to get my money back. Waited 15 on hold they could not reach him or anyone. They said I would be refunded then at 8:00 that night I was sent notification that my card was billed

Outdated but the owner was very friendly and helpful! Stayed for three nights to white water raft and explore Baxter State Park. It was the perfect place to rest your head at night and enjoy adventures throughout the day! Plus it was pet friendly ?
