The New England Outdoor Center provides an absolutely fantastic experience in a gorgeous and spectacular location with beautiful views of Mount Katahdin across the serene lake. It is a relaxed, welcoming, and ethereal place perfect for getaways, family trips, weddings, and year-after-year visits. The staff is truly amazing, incredible, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. They go above and beyond, providing outstanding service with a perfect balance of professionalism and humor. The team ensures guests feel safe, comfortable, and welcome, seamlessly handling events and adding to an unforgettable experience. Activities are plentiful, including exhilarating white water rafting with expert guides, snowmobiling, canoeing, and access to nearby Baxter State Park. The property features a club house with free pool, darts, ping pong, and tons of other games, along with outdoor activities like horseshoes, fire pits, and volleyball. The location is convenient, with an easy, wheelchair-accessible walk to the lake and well-maintained cabins and accommodations. Dining options are excellent, with surprisingly delicious and flavorful food, good lunch, and friendly service. Venues include outdoor dining, a dreamy patio, a casual brewery, and a pristine new event center. The overall experience is highly recommended, leaving guests wowed and eager to return.
Didn't stay there as it was eclipse weekend but heard from others the accommodations were very good. The service and the food were excellent. And the view of katahdin is amazing.

This was the best meal I've had in a long time. Phenomenal service, amazing food! After dinner I made a reservation for a cabin to come back and bring family and friends. Must visit!
