Absolutely phenomenal experience at Moose Prints and Gallery. My friends and I were wandering the Main Street area when happening upon this carefully curated store featuring incredibly talented local artists. Furthermore, the owner was remarkably kind when my friends and I inquired about places to see the stars and other nature spots. Pulling out a map, she drew us a detailed list of places to go and places to avoid in our ventures. We were so thankful for her help and how out of the way she went to make sure we had a great visit! :)

What an awesome selection of prints. Really beautiful fairly priced earrings . Anita is such a fantastic person, so kind. Showed us the route we’d be taking up Katahdin to finish up our thru-hike. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful art photography. Can’t wait to get home and hang my purchases. If you’re wanting quality photography of the beautiful Maine Highlands, Mt Katahdin and all the wildlife, you need to stop in here. Anita was incredibly helpful and even gave us tips on how to get to a great place for pictures of Katahdin. Really enjoyed our visit.

So I was traveling in the area. And I was told that the photographers took great photos. Being an avid amateur photographer, I wanted to check them out. We go in, the lady of the shop was sitting talking to someone she knew. They were talking about someone's apartment. She said if you need anything just ask. Was looking through the prints they had, and was super excited at the beauty. I was very vocal with my excitement over the photos and was going to buy several. However, I expected that after showing excited interest, that I wouldn't have to be rude and ask for assistance. I assumed she would have wanted to interact with us, guess not. We walked around the entire room looking at everything. We were essentially ignored from the woman and her very "important" conversation. Since she didn't want to have any other interaction with us, other than "ask for help," we didn't buy anything. She obviously has soooo much money that she isn't concerned with not interacting with potential customers. They do take beautiful photos, but seem better at interacting with nature than they do with customers. I wouldn't waste my money or time there.

Awesome photography. If you want a really good gift that is purely Maine this is a good choice to shop at. One of the photographers came out and talked to us. Really nice person. This is a must visit when in this part of Maine.

If you are ever in the Millinocket, ME / Baxter State Park area you MUST stop in and see Moose Prints Gallery! You will find some of the most beautiful, colorful and largest variety of some of this country’s best wildlife and landscape photography. I had the great pleasure meeting Anita who helped me pick out a couple pieces. I also had Mark and Anita frame my prints which came out AMAZING!. Anita was especially helpful in steering me to a suitable frame for both pieces and was super accommodating in getting them framed in time for me to take them back home to Boston. I have the pieces in my home office and I have received many compliments on the pieces. The store is a wonderful place to browse — and there is quite a wide range in sizes and prices of pieces - and a great selection of framing choices as well. Make sure to stop in and say hello to Mark and Anita!
