Best hothouse tomato I have ever tasted. Thanks for bringing culinary joy to us New Englanders during the winter months! The cocktail tomatoes tasted just like soil grown summer tomatoes!

The product quality and availability have essentially disintegrated since the initial owners sold-out. These things haven't even been on local store shelves in Maine in several months. The owners clearly can't run their business and have not figured out a way to keep their product going. Like most Maine businesses, they just rely on luck of people who will keep purchasing when and if they randomly show-up at the stores. After years of buying ONLY Backyard Farm tomatoes, we've finally started buying something else and I've taken Backyard Farms out of my weekly shopping cart lineup.

Do not apply here. They'll treat you like garbage. All they want is how much money can you bring in. If they could sell your organs they probably would. There is a balance of money and employees health, and they lack it internally.

I bought Backyard Farms red tomatoes on the vine at Whole Foods and they were really flavourful and aromatic. But I did not refrigerate them, rather kept them in a lose paper back to continue ripening for a day or two. Best store-bought tomato flavour I've had in a long, long time.
