Use to be the place to go to grab a quick bite to eat and go back to work but no longer the warmers are always empty and pizza looks like Dat old if you have time to order and wait food is good they have great salads out but no dressings for them was only good place in town sadly no more

Don't let the fact it's a convenient store fool you. There are tables in a little diner section in the back. I had the sausage gravy and biscuits with scrambled eggs. It was delicious! Certainly better than going to the "Arches" down the street...

Was here for a week on storm duty during a statewide power outage for a tree company, absolutely phenomenal food and service. From the cooks to the waitresses , I couldn't believe what this place has done for all the line and tree crews keeping them fed. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The food is top notch

My husband and I ate here in July, 2023. As other reviewers have said, the food and service is great, the prices are reasonable, and the ambiance is very pleasant. All in the back of a gas station! We were staying at the Bluebird Motel next door for one night. We walked over to Tom's for dinner -- a fried clam plate with fries and cole slaw that was enough for the two of us. Then returned for breakfast sandwiches the next morning. All delicious and everyone was very friendly. Thank you Tom's. We highly recommend.

When we visited Machias, the only places open for breakfast were McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, and Tom's. Don't be deceived by appearances. Go in the mini mart and there's a little restaurant at the back. Order at the counter and they'll bring your food to you. Get your beverages in the mini mart, then pay for everything at the mini mart checkout counter. I had sausage gravy & biscuits with an egg and hash brown patty. It was fine, but nothing special.

Love this place! The restaurant in the back is my favorite place to eat in town. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Always look forward to their daily specials posted on social media to see if I'm going out to lunch that day

A naughty little find, hidden out the back of the petrol station, had a haddock burger thing with ‘tater tots’ (didn’t know what those were but they were nice, like teeny tiny potato croquettes) and coleslaw, all for a very reasonable price indeed. Actually I’d go so far as to say a cheap price.

Food is great for this area but their timing is often off, they tell you 10 min and it’s 30.30 mins is a hour gets very old fast. Just tell me if it’s busy and it’s gonna take longer don’t make me sit and wait for a extra 15 min inside the store and not even offer a discount or anything. Also when you go in the back to get your food often no one is there and they don’t seem to check if someone is waiting. It’s not just one of the employees I have had this issue with multiple different people and if you order more than one meal often one or more is cold bc of the time it’s takes them. But I will say their food is the best in Machias

Cute little restaurant hidden behind a Citgo, next door to the Bluebird Motel. The entrance is through the Citgo, not the side.Food is inexpensive, home cooked feel. Very popular with the locals, so calling ahead will help get your food sooner. We came the first time when it was incredibly busy and we didn't wait too long for food.
