This is an “ok” supermarket. I’m used to Publix and Smith’s which are both exceptional and since this store was close we thought we would try it.
I like that they have a decent amount of organic food here which is a plus. It’s just kinda small comparatively and we didn’t find any of the items we were looking for.

The main grocer in Machias. Fresh produce, bakery, seafood, deli, major beer selection, wine, and spirits. Even offer classes online to improve your diet and health. Great website with coupons and recipes.

I have been shopping here 20 years. Never again. I found Market Basket. I drive 20 minutes further, but the savings are enormous. It's clear we have been getting price gourged for some time.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoy shopping at Dublin St. Hannaford. I find the quality of the fruits and vegetables very good. I'm pleased to see in the refrigerator is front of the meat department window you can occasionally get chicken packages, two thighs, at .99, and not have to buy the family pack. I would like to see less workers and goods in the aisles.
