Really cute place, nice location. Rooms were very clean and had a few nice touches. Came for work and the room had all the little things available that you forget to pack. Great location and the host was very helpful and nice. She even reached out because someone left clothes in one of the rooms.

Review of The Inn On The Wharf Reviewed yesterday Beautiful view out my door, but i had a few challenges. I told the hotel twice that I would be arriving late, after 8pm. Nadia said she'd leave my room open. I arrived at 8:45 pm & was locked out. It was cold and very dark. I was very disappointed. The floors above me are definitely hard floors with no insulation, sounds like people are clog dancing up there and I can even hear the people upstairs talking. Doesn't make for a peaceful stay. After a day of touring, I was tired and wanted to watch a show. The TV wasn't working. I called the hotel at 5pm. I really thought they would send someone down to troubleshoot for me, as is usual and customary. Not only did she tell me there's no one on site (now I feel unsafe as well as feeling that the customer service is less than desirable, ) but she said, "Welcome to Lubec," in a sarcastic tone. I told her I was giving up, she told me that she was trying to help. I let her know that her comment wasn't helpful. Not only is the customer service lacking, but cleaning and maintenance leaves a bit to be desired. The plastic blinds are broken, people can see into my room and the cleaning person has obviously never cleaned behind the bathroom door. The towels are dingy and I wouldn't use one of the washcloths as it felt stiff like it was used. But the view was stellar.

Just a little background on this reviewer before you think I'm an entitled white woman: I've backpack traveled solo across Europe for a month long trip and SE Asia for a 9 month trip. I've been to India as a budget traveler twice. Once for 3 weeks and once for 2 months. I've done a medical services trip to Guatemala. I spent an entire season in Denali as a seasonal worker listening to guests be less than grateful about their surroundings. We ran out of a lot of food by the end of the season and basically ate rice & beans for the last 10 days. I worked on the Navajo Nation in people's homes for 2 years. I'm a traveling medical professional so I travel the U.S. a lot. I'm a grateful person in general. Just couldn't give this place 5 stars.

Interesting location; excellent views and very nice room. Former sardine processing plant turned into a motel. The newer specially built rooms are nicer, but all have great views. On-site seasonal restaurant is a plus in a town with no other eating establishments.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Spacious rooms are nice, view is beautiful with a direct view over the water. No T.V. in rooms but we didn't even notice until after we left. We were so busy enjoying chatting over coffee while taking in the views from our windows, or busy out exploring local parks and lighthouses. Common areas are also great for gathering with a view. Convenient common kitchen with coffee in the mornings. Restaurant on site, with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Washer/dryer available for 1.50 each, making a load of laundry $3. We took advantage of this on our last evening before packing. So many beautiful parks, hiking trails, scenic beaches, etc. to see nearby or within a short drive. Well worth the stay!

Stayed one night to visit Quoddy Lighthouse and Campobello Park. Quaint, no frills place right on the water. Helpful, friendly staff. Room was just what I needed for my short stay.

Beautiful view right off the water, wonderful size kitchen and common areas, plenty of space to be spread out and everything was so nice and clean and well kept. The building has so much character with subtle remnants of its original life without feeling odd. The staff are super friendly and courteous, and big plus being able to wake up and grab an amazing breakfast next door.

We didn't stay here but ate at the restaurant, and it was the best fish and lobster roll ever. Portions were large and cooked to perfection!! Highly recommended 5/5 stars!!

The hotel is in a beautiful location. Many rooms except the one we stayed in had a veranda overlooking the bay. The beds were comfortable and clean. No TV. Very peaceful . The restaurant was a different story. They were not welcoming. Service was indifferent the dining area was full of flies. Coffee was burned. Food was tasteless.

I was charged $474.15 for a stay that was cancelled in February 2023 (six months after I cancelled the stay) Dont give a credit # to reserve- they tell you it wont be charged until check-in...I never checked in but out $474.15. B E W A R E!!! Theft by fraudulent business practice...Noteworthy details: DO NOT let them fool you... DO NOT give a credit card when they say it's the only way to reserve... They stole $474.15 from me and I never was there. I CANCELLED 6 MONTHS PRIOR!!!

We stayed at the Sunrise room. It had a great view, comfortable bed and other amenities. The rooms were clean. The common area provided enough tables and chairs to work and also get to know the other guests. We loved our stay. We also walked to a great coffee shop and restaurants near by.

Do not stay in the room called Tides. It sits directly next to restaurant and restaurant kitchen. The industrial restaurant sink where all the heavy dishwashing is done sits directly behind your bathroom wall. The noise ( dishwasher banging) is incredible and goes from around 7 am till 10 pm as they are open for 3 meals a day. Restaurant patrons can eat on a deck that look’s directly into your room. Even the woman working the front desk said it was the worst room in hotel and that it was Booking. Com’s fault for booking the room in the first place. She told us to close bathroom door to keep some of kitchen noise out. Doesn’t work.Parking is dicey to say the least. Small cars have a better advantage.
