“A friend of mine sent me the body lotion. I received it today.
I have shingles.
My body has been on fire and had random needle and knife like stabbing pains for over a week. 3% Lidocaine would only work for a minute. The thing was, I had steady fire under my arm, but no sign of shingles. I put the Lidocaine on there too it would not work.
Shingles gets worse at night and I was struggling. Anything touching my skin made me want to scream. Sleeping was next to impossible and only occurred after I was completely exhausted from the pain. I was given pain pills they make me in pain groggy.
As I said, I received the Marin today I washed off any remaining Lidocaine and applied the Marin. I instantly feel the soothing relief of it. Once I finished applying it to the affected areas I began applying it to my armpit. It took a few minutes for it to put out the fire, but it is gone!!! I feel soooo loved right now! Loved by my wonderful friend Pam and by the creators of this excellent lotion. Thank you for what you do.”
“This place has style, a cute ambiance, and high-quality items. The owner was also really helpful and fun to talk to. It's a sweet little getaway, right off the sidewalk.”

61 India St, Portland“This charming and tastefully appointed seaweed shop, located in a beautiful historical building, is filled with quirky interesting books, as well as seaweed/coastal-themed accoutrements. The lovely bonhomous manager helped us pick out some unique seaweed tea, which I’m excited to try. Of course, we also purchased some of the Wild Atlantic Dulse. Can’t wait to begin our virtuous seaweed journey, and I hope to return soon.”

“Touristy gift/souvenir shop that's right on Commercial St. Very well stocked with anything Maine/Portland related that you could want. It definitely saved us some time from running all around town to find things as we could get it all right here and relatively reasonable prices.”

64 E St, South Portland“Love this place. It’s a bit of a splurge but totally worth bettering your environment and the environment as a whole. I will come up with an excuse just to go into the lovely store and explore their products. Absolutely love this place and LOVE that it’s woman owned!!!”
“Funky, fun selection! Got an oversized pj shirt with exactly the type of Maine imagery I was looking for.
This place has items with both better quality and designs that match-if not beat-the prices of the other shops in the vicinity.
Hunt around, and you'll see this store is unmatched.”

111 Commercial St, Portland“We've been to their Quechee flagship store and glassblowing studio, where the Simon Pearce artisans create beautiful works of art, so being able to visit their Portland retail store is great. They have gorgeous handblown glass drinkware, serveware, lighting, candle holders, pumpkins, animals, and other items. We especially love the evergreen trees. They also have hardwood bowls, trays, cutting boards, etc. and pottery. ”
“I went here in 2019 and am still obsessed with their logo and the saying. Bought a hat, 3 hooded shirts, a lobster and more. Please sell your logo on a patch and continued prosperity.”
“I have quite a few favorite pieces from Lulu Ceramics going back many years. Hand made ceramics contribute more to a meal or morning coffee ritual. You will develop a special preference towards using each piece.
Whether it is a glaze or pattern, stamping or form, each unique piece is made with elements that keep me reaching for them over and over. My Coffee only tastes right from “my” mug, same with holding a tumbler for my tea. Yes, there is a breakfast plate for me, and a pasta bowl.. Her large platters and bowls can be custom stamped to mark a special event or wedding, and they add to all of your holiday tables with functionality and style.
Lovely little shop, and Lulu is a proud local business owner. Take a moment to check her shop hours, so you will not be left being the only one without one of her terrific pieces.”

83 Commercial St, Portland“Great selection of items. However, pricier on many of the same items that can be found further down the road at lower cost. Some unique items for sure but compare prices down the road , on the Maine souvenirs you’ll be seeing a short walk further. ❤️??”
“Absolutely love this store! Whenever I visit from California I make it a point to stop in here and buy something. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. Everything here is beautiful and a great value. Highly recommend stopping here when checking out Portland!”
“Freak Street has the friendliest service and their hats/shirts are less than half the cost of the gift shop two doors down. I would definitely return here for Portland, Maine memorabilia. They also do screen printing if that's what you're after.”
“We can’t live without the ramen bowls!Creative design and beautiful workmanship! My husband and I own 4 and we gave our children each 2 for Christmas. Love these and use them often!”
