My small packages keep getting delayed because the driver reports the mailbox is full, even though I’ve made sure it’s empty. They have done for almost a week at a time and I have to go in and ask where my stuff is.

Really discouraging to have to write a bad review about your own post office but here we are. Constant problems from the trucks being "incapable" of traversing slightly slippery terrain to mail items being carelessly left, shoved into mailboxes without regard, and completely being misplaced. In a 6 day timeframe we had 2 different tracked packages say they were delivered but never arrived, all while getting other deliveries. Some days are better than others but for something that you need to know you are getting all of, with how much online shopping is done these days; some of these issues are certainly not acceptable. Not sure what needs to change over there, but something needs to give and the people of Litchfield literally have their hands tied.

Ever since the Litchfield Maine post office got the new USPS style mail trucks they have become incredibly lazy And disrespectful. The slightest amount of snow or brush -not obstructing my mailbox in the slightest, and they will refuse to deliver my mail. Envelopes clearly labeled as “do not fold” are just crammed into my mailbox anyways. Packages just left out wide open in the middle of the rain on the ground. Boxes crammed into my mailbox just so the delivery man doesn’t have to approach my door. The service is terrible, I am fed up, and I will take my complaints as far up the chain as I have to.

Failed to deliver a package for unknown reasons. Than didn't attempt to redeliver or leave a pickup notice. Question, who gets 1.5 hours for lunch?

I’ve never had an issue until recently. We have a new mail carrier delivering our mail now and this person jammed a box into our mailbox that clearly didn’t fit.Update: this continues to happen. Also, he recently left a package on our bricks in the pouring rain, and tucked our mail under the box. The mail was so soaking wet it’s a good thing there was nothing important that day because it would have been ruined.

Litchfield Maine post office deliberately delivered my package to the wrong address I do not have a garage or an alternate address to have my packages in Litchfield Maine delivered to and they know it. Because I live on a private road and not a city street and they know it. If anything I should have got to slip in my mailbox yesterday to pick it up at the post office like I've gotten before. That's still tampering with someone's mail even if it was post office staff

I never had problems with USPS deliveries like I have now. Simply terrible. I live in Waterford, Maine and they ship a small package to Litchifield, Maine for me. Cripes USPS can't get any worse.

They keep saying they delivered a package but it didnt arive with the rest of my mail, beware thier mail carriers have repeatedly delivered items to the wrong address across town. Poor service at best.

Awesome post office in a great location in Litchfield at the 4 corners. Personable service. Friendly. Small, but in a good way. Really go out of their way to help. Plenty of parking and po boxes for rent. Passport photos available. Free boxes. Just really nice people. Not your typical post office, better.
