Owner is needs to get his stuff together. Cabins are ancient, no ceilings in the room, all the pictures on google are so old the structures do not exist anymore. False advertising. No amenities. Everything fails. The couch was so absolutely filthy, my family would not sit on it. The water flow from shower was non barely flowing. There’s nothing to do for the family outside of a plastic playground which they won’t even show online, as they still advertise they’re nice wooden. They had one floating dock whereas the pic shows 4 on google. On family was staying on it and no one else could use it. The docks where the kids go fishing were literally submerged dangerously in the water leaving the smallest little dock for the whole campground to fish from. Sadly unprofessional ownership is causing this campground to be a terrible experience for whoever books it. We had generators with lights running outside our campsite from 4pm-10pm with lights beaming onto our campsite and the noise was unbearably loud for our kids and us to find peace by campfire. Overall the camp was worse we have gone to and will never return!!!! The lake on the other hand is amazing if you have a boat, but stay clear of the many hazards on the lake. Buyer beware!!

We hadn’t been to Birches in over 25 yrs, everything was fantastic, we almost left when we first checked in as the woman that checked us in was unfriendly and sort of made feel unwelcome, however the rest of the staff was outstanding, maybe she was having a bad day

The road into the campground is definitely bumpy , so use caution and slow speed
But everything very well kept the sites aren't too close together.
RV friendly
Very pleasant staff and maintenance crew.
If you are looking to get away for a bit without being too far away from civilization
Check them out ?

Extremely friendly and very helpful staff. They actually guide you to your site and then help you get backed in right, so your slides will open. Great docks for the boat with their own launch and fuel. The beach is beautiful and sandy with a shallow float and a deep float for the kids. We took the grandkids for a week and we all had a blast. Definitely going back.

Like packing sardines in a can. All the sites are right tight against each other.

Did not get to stay here. We used the dump station. Spoke to wonderful camp hosts regarding seasonal stay but we could not use that. Nice campground!

Spent quite a while on their website. I'm too old and in the way for camping with the fan so this may be a happy medium. The old woman in the camper and the kiddies out in the tent! When we visit I will update!

Okay, I wasn't actually going to write this review but figured I might as well..I had a bunch of pictures I deleted them all because I was hesitant..Here's what I have to say, the birches is on beautiful carbassy lake and has a ton of boat slips which is awesome.. unfortunately the negative is glaring.. The campsites are mostly occupied by seasonal campers and they are on top of each other and when I say on top of each other when I looked out of my camper windows regardless of which one I was looking directly at or into another camper..The other thing that I would say is that I went toward the end of the season, late September, the bathroom got cleaned once that week, 4 days that week I got to listen to the constant backup alarms of heavy equipment trying to take out the docks which is unfortunate because I wanted a boat which they didn't forewarn me about.. The store was almost never open I guess that's probably due to their closing or getting ready to close for the season..Another complaint potentially would be that there was equipment everywhere, both along the road and in the campground as well as de.o.piles as you drive in..Oh, I almost forgot... you have to pay for the ridiculously slow WiFi.. to put it in perspective the DSL I have at camp which is 25 mps is faster. On the plus side, the people were kind and helpful and the campground was exceptionally quiet.

Awesome campground experience!!! Located on Cobbosseecontee Lake providing GREAT Bass Fishing and other water activities. Camp sites are close to each other, but very quiet and peaceful. Staff was professional, respectful and always trying to please to make your stay a memorable experience. Guests at other camp sites were very friendly, and respectful of each other's privacy. Beach area and two yes two playgrounds occupied the little ones for hours. Strongly recommend staying at Birches Campground.
