I had 2 regular sized bags and was behind people with alot of bags. A worker, who was headed to lunch saw me and cashed me out before leaving for his lunch break. I think that was very kind of him!!

You work in retail and when work in retail you need to treat customers with respect at all times . Roopers do better with your people . Not sure of her name it's the bleach blonde one .

This review is for the bottle redemption, 4 days in a row I tried getting in there. Backed up every time with only one person working, there's 3 windows hire more people

Bottle redemption is a scam. No where on the receipt does it say must redeem the same day as deposit, yet when attempting to redeem several receipts once I had the time, it's suddenly a factor. Easier to just throw your cans in the garbage with everything else

For those that live in the Androscoggin and Oxford county regions of Maine, Roopers is likely your go-to or a consistent stop for all your alcoholic beverages. In Maine we sell alcohol in CVS, Walgreens, Hannaford, Shaws and many other types of establishments, but Mr. Rooper, prior to his passing in 2022, built an empire of Rooper's Beverage stores that is well known for their inventory and bottle redemption services. If you are unable to find what you are looking for, they will try to find it for you. They found me a Jack Daniels Sinatra bottle that is very limited and they called me the second they got their hands on a bottle. Rooper's is a Maine staple and their staff is always friendly and accommodating. Mr. Rooper did a tremendous job building his business and expanding to other locations. I applaud him and his teams for continuing to raise the bar and set the standard for customer service.

Absolutely love this place. Such a huge selection of alcoholic beverages and pretty much any other ltem you would look for at a convenience store. With several locations around Lewiston, Auburn and other towns it easy to pick one to stop in. Combine that with extremely friendly and helpful staff, it really makes any one of the stores a wonderful place to stop in. Not to be left out, they also have bottle redemption at most of the stores with the main redemption facility on Main st in Lewiston. They even have drop off redemption service as well. All in all a great place to go and support local business!

Don't/won't carry brews that I used to buy here in years past. I have asked in person and on the phone for many items, and each time, when I return, they have no record of my order, and do not have the items in stock.If you enjoy beers from Ommegang, Chimay, Unibroue, etc., it seems you will need to go elsewhere to find it.
