I just got a new to me 2019 Subaru Forester in February, and recently just had its first oil change. I always used Prompto near Portland and Sopo on my old car (Honda HRV) without issues, but I was nervous to take this car to one because I’ve been seeing a lot of Subie owners talking about nightmare oil change experiences at similar businesses across the country (accidentally having the transmission fluid drained because of how close the oil and this is I guess?). I haven’t had time to get back into a shop for this with my busy schedule and money has been tight, so I decided to give this location a try while I was in town for work. Everything went great, hardly any wait (just one car that was before me), very quick service, they also changed a filter for me that was no good and even showed me it before asking if they can. They also let me know to top my washer fluid off if I had some at home (which I do) instead of trying to upsell me on more wash first before asking. The guys worked together well, and seemed to know their stuff. It’s been a few days now, and my car is still running great! I will definitely keep coming back to this location.

I was recommended to this place by a few coworkers and friends, so of course I decided to choose them for an oil change. When I arrived, there was already two trucks being worked on which didn’t take long at all. I was guided into the building and was given all the prompts when necessary. It didn’t take long and I commend them for the multiple inspections to make sure nothing was leaking. The men were all so incredibly nice and respectful and I will absolutely use them again when my cars need an oil change.

I have tried to call this location numerous times and received no answer over the phone. The one time someone did pick up nobody said anything it sounded like they left the phone on the desk so that it would stop ringing. I hung up and called back to a busy signal for me that confirmed my belief that they answered the phone just to make it stop ringing. I can find a better place for an oil change if this is how they treat their customers

Charged me for antifreeze and washer fluid and put neither and left the cap off my antifreeze. Good thing I checked.
Edit: went back and they put in the washer fluid and antifreeze increased to 2 star review

Had to get my oil changed when I was on vacation. I guess they assume everyone knows how to use their service, but I was somewhat confused by the process. Luckily, I asked a question, so the supervisor had to come over, and he realized my Volkswagen took a different oil than they were going to use. Not sure I would come back unless absolutely necessary.
