Clean, and always stocked on everything. Their produce is fresh and I've never gotten bad fruit or vegetables. Their whole store is well planned out, and well stocked. Great meat section, great selection of frozen foods. No complaints.
I'm retired, so I do try to go on off hours because some days it's hard to find a parking place, even though the parking lot is plenty large for the size of the store.

I went there to get the Krab bake sushi (which I'll add is delicious btw) and grabbed the only ones left labeled as such only to go home and find out it was infact not that at all it had chicken instead

Less than fresh produce.I don't like when then open iceberg lettuce bags, cut and tear off brown spots and rebag it.The less people handling my food the better.

It’s a Hannaford. This is one of the bigger ones in the area, which is nice. A bit pricy but you have good selection of products.

Clean store .
I Do have a big problem with there gift cards not working and some how showing no money on the gift cards when I just got the gift cards from my Boss as a Christmas Gift .
I get them every year and they never work.
Nobody has ever gotten back to me about this ? I've left my name and cell number for the Mangers and gave it to the cashier and they never called me back ?!!!!!!!!

Courtney, the Assistant Manager in “Customer Service” needs a refreshers course.Here’s the story:I had a Long day at work and I had ordered $163 in groceries earlier in the day. I needed to replace the Hot house cucumbers for the regular cucumbers and gather a few more items.. I Flagged down a young man in the store and asked him for help. The young man sent Courtney over to help me. Courtney came over to assist me but a lady skipped me to, “ask a question.” Courtney explained to the lady that she was on her way to help me first. The lady insisted that Courtney help her first and proceeded to skip me. I stated to Courtney that I was asking for help first and should be assisted first. Courtney tells me that I should wait because the Lady only have a question. I insisted on being helped. The lady backed up and Courtney began to grudgingly help me.I am from Florida and new to Maine. In Florida, no one goes for that.. And I will not tolerate such disrespect and disregard. Courtney offered no apology (although the lady did), Courtney only tried to excuse her behavior by being arrogant. Perhaps Courtney’s manager can give some insight on how to handle these type of situations properly. Everyone’s time is their Time. Who are you to appropriate whose time is more important than the other?Because of the aforementioned, I will be taking my business to SHAW’S.Run!! Potential customers- just RUN!

Don't mind shopping here but this cart auto locking thing is super annoying, at least 5 or 6 times it's locked before even going outside to put your groceries away. This is the only shopping place that I know that has these and they need to go, the amount of times I'm either stuck there waiting to be unlocked or get scolded by employees and treated like I've stollen something is insane. I'll be avoiding Hannaford until these are gone.
