I’m going through clinical depression and was told to make a gratitude list. If a gratitude list helped with clinical depression than everybody would be doing it

My therapists here were wonderful. But I can no longer see them.St. Mary’s has a policy that they STRICTLY adhere to, where after you have missed 3 appointments - not in a row, but in general - you are blocked from scheduling out. This can be over the course of YEARS. You can only schedule the day of. If you work full time, you’re screwed. If your therapist always has a full book, you’re screwed.I have severe anxiety, a personality disorder, and adhd that is bordering on autism.I have bad days. I write stuff down in three places, and forget it. I will be aware of something I have to do, and then it completely escapes my mind the next moment.Sometimes I miss appointments because of this.So they denied me care because of symptoms of things that I have very limited control over. There are good therapists in many places. Don’t go to a place that will refuse to treat you and deny you care, simply because you accidentally missed a few days that you were scheduled.Honest to God, I feel like it’s discrimination. The only reason I gave two stars is because my therapists were absolutely wonderful. But St. Mary’s? A horrible and discriminatory organization.

Enjoyed my therapy and my therapist. Been going for a number of years. Unfortunately he's leaving for personal reasons and I need to start over with a different therapist. Hopefully it'll work out.
