Went here for the first time the other night to get fancy steaks to cook at home, could not have been happier. An excellent cut of meat and very helpful staff. Also grabbed the biggest cabbage I have ever seen. We will be returning soon!

I no longer buy my meats from Hannafords where they use water and pink slim in your burger to add weight, dividing up my burger I'm not left with gross slimy hands from handling my burger, when I make meatloaf its no longer swimming in water waste, there's hardly and drippings in the dish, and everyone who works there has a smile on their face and are ready to assist you

A mom-and-pop style store popular for their super fresh meats and daily specials like ham, pepperoni, salami, and tuna Italians at low prices. They also serve up lobster rolls on Fridays at reasonable rates, too. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They treat you like family, and they've been around for decades!

Absolutely a one time shopper, very overpriced and half the items are without prices on them or even price tags on the shelf so you walk to the register blind to even what it will be costing you and you better be ready for a jaw dropping total. All grocery shopping is expensive these days but they are on a higher than that level. Plenty of other local owned stores that aren't doing that, I'll stick with other stores and never visit bourques again.

As always, they are super friendly and have a great selection. I like to buy chicken hearts to make dog treats out of. They have best around.

I just watched the butcher get off the phone and proceed to grab my raw chicken breasts with his bare hands. The lady up front explained to me that it was his choice whether or not he wants to use gloves. If the butchers have the option to not use gloves, then they should at least be required to wash their hands after doing other tasks and before handling raw meat. Especially after touching something presumably quite dirty like a phone. I bet the health department would agree with me. What else did he touch before he was on the phone and touching the raw meat? Scary.

Everyone knows Borque's is where you get good cuts of meat but yesterday my pups had their first steak and it was from there. They both said it was 10/10 and would shop there again.
