The worst! Overflowed the tank into the basement. Phone line didn't work to get them back to clean it up, fire dept had to do it. When their line was up, sent an unqualified person to 'clean it up' and neutralize the odor...he showed up with just some random hardware store supplies to do it. The driver was my only contact, on his personal cell...never a call or follow up from anyone at the company office/owners/managers. The overflow impacted the guage which caused me to be out of oil later on and they take no ownership of fixing it, causing it and refuse to bring oil! I didn't want to use them again but in this emergency case, it should have been on them to resolve. No apologies, no empathy, could care less.

I am a long time (5+ year) customer. I have also brought in additional customers to include family & friends. I called today to order oil for my mother in law who has also been a customer for a few years. They have been there many times. I received a call back stating there was a possibility they would not be able to deliver the oil (a week from today) as their driver noted last time he was on that road (not my mother in laws house), the road condition was too bad & that he was worried about breaking a spring on their only truck. This was after they committed to the delivery & charged me for the oil. I could understand if this was the first time they have been down the road & made that decision, this was not the case. I cannot understand how an oil delivery company can tell a long term customer NO on what they are in business to do, delivery oil. Either discontinue delivery on that road completely or deliver, don't just say "We can deliver sometimes & sometimes we can't" that's ridiculous. Even better acquire a truck that can handle any road with the exception of a road that hasn't been plowed etc. now I am forced to look for another oil company for my mother in law & myself as I will not do business like this. It blows my mind that so many companies today are really not customer oriented or really concerned about the welfare of their customers. This situation is unacceptable to me & as always I am able to discuss the matter if they so chose to do so. They have my number.

We have always been loyal customers to advantage fuel .I always leave a check taped to my window of my front door, I ordered fuel it was raining the next morning I put my check in a sandwich baggie and put it on the door when I came home from work the check was still there so I called advantage and asked them why they didn't deliver my fuel and they said in a very rude voicemessage that the driver checked every single door and couldn't find the check and now we will no longer be serving you you'll have to find some other place to go that this is happened several several times! Ummm nope never ever have I not left a check !!! I have called over and over and left messages, no return call!

We have ordered fuel from Advantage a few times because their price was a little lower than others. The last time, they told us they were coming on a certain day, but when they arrived at the end of our street which is about 4-5 acres away from our house, they backed out and left. We received no call from them. The next day I got a call from the woman who said with an attitude, "I just called to let you know why we didn't come yesterday. You have to plow your driveway, before we will come again." I told her that we watched the driver and he came no where's near our house and our driveway was plowed. She screamed at me saying that he did come down to our driveway. She is rude, inconsiderate and a liar.

We have been loyal customers (2 properties)for several years. No more. On the second of Jan. I made the call for a fill up. Had just under a half of a tank. As most know we all were ripping through oil at those temps . I figured I would be proactive and place my order figuring it would be several days before a delivery would be possible. I followed the usual protocol, left my order on the answering machine, stated where the check would be and waited. Message on machine said no deliveries until middle of the following week. No problem.... Finally (on the 12th) called to see where the delivery was? Response "sorry, never got your order ". We will be there Monday. Now I'm down to under a quarter. Fired up the wood stove, didn't have much choice at that point other than pay another company $125.00 for an emergency fill up. It gets worse from here- I Receive a call from the company that actually delivers oil for Advantage on the 14th at 8:40am on Sunday. "Sorry, we are down a driver to deliver to your area. Can't deliver until Fri." I live six miles away and this company has at least (10) trucks!! I call right back and no answer! Really... I'm on fumes at this point!! Eventually I chase a truck down in my neighborhood. (On a Sunday). The owner/driver was gracious enough to help me out and did not charge a extra fee to someone who was clearly desperate and would have paid it... I now have a new oil company. To Advantage Oil- you just lost two customers and hopefully others after this review. I would give you 0 stars if possible. Try actually answering your phone and communicating with your customers.

Always the lowest price around so I don't even bother calling around anymore. They are always very busy because of the low price and being a small family owned company but I've always had great luck with them, even if I call and leave a message they are quick to call me back.

Wow. I don't know where to begin. I came across this company online because they had the cheapest price posted. Well there is a reason for that! My experience was nothing short of horrible. I paid for oil was told it was going to be delivered the following week (Monday). I explained that we were almost out of oil. Monday morning I get a call that their driver was out sick. I understand people call in sick but is this the customers fault? Why wouldn't they send someone else? I was told that they would then deliver oil on Wednesday! Fast forward to Wednesday morning and I call to verify that the delivery is happening. I get a phone call back stating that it would indeed happen. Well it's 8:19pm on Wednesday and still no oil!!! i called the after hours phone number and was told the driver was on his way and that he makes deliveries until 10pm. When I already explained that I'm on the verge of running out of oil on Monday, why would I be last on the list for delivery???!?! NEVER again will I use the company. I would gladly spend 25 cents more to go with another oil company!

Wow. These guys CANNOT be bothered to return my calls so that I might be able to give them a bunch money in return for their services. Perhaps this business is purely just a hobby to these guys? I cannot imagine a scenario where a business would be too busy or so flush with cash that they would not take the 5 minutes to either return a call or even answer the phone in the first place in an effort to secure more customers. I tried a week of calling hoping to get a return call so that I might have oil delivered. They could not come through with this simplest of tasks.

They never answer their phone. It's so hard to just place an order

I have been a customer of Advantage fuels for a while. Few months ago I placed an order for some heating oil. In the past I have asked for a phone call when they are coming if I did not hear them knocking at the door and I don't like leaving the money out for other people to find. They came the last time and no phone call and left. When I called asked what had happened I got a response of "We were there and no one answered the door" and when asked why no phone call the response was "we don't have the time to call every customer". At which point they did not offer to come back out or reschedule the delivery. As I told them in the past and they most have forgot or not put in my account notes, I am disabled with leg issues making hard for me to go up and downstairs sometimes, which is the reason I ask for the phone call so I have time to get to the door and pay them.
Now last 2 months I tried calling them back as they are the lowest price around and will not return my call. So I guess they do not cater to the needs of people with disabilities who ask for something as simple a phone call and ignore them when so they do not have to deliver to them.
