The folks who work here are good people. Treatment received for my pet was good. However, after fact-checking about their fees and treatment costs with other vet professionals, I was told I am paying way too much and this facility has a higher than normal fees for pet treatments. I was given a few quotes in the past and I kindly asked for a discount. I was politely turned down for any discount and I was asked to open a pet care credit. Ranging from checkups, proactive care and critical care - their prices are way over the top. Went to another clinic and its been months. I looked at my invoice from past and present and the cost difference is noticeably lower with the new facility. PAHVET is a good clinic. Great people that work here. But as a customer or new customer, be prepared to pay. A lot of money.

We are beyond grateful for the care our favorite family member received at PAH. Our pup had an unexpected emergency, and they were able to expertly handle the situation with so much compassion. The vet that we have used in the past did not have the ability to perform the emergency surgery our sweet girl needed, and after one quick phone call, we were on our way to PAH. I am so very glad we ended up here! Every single staff member we have dealt with has been top-notch! (The Vets, the clinical staff, and the reception staff) It feels like they love our sweet girl as much as we do.(Love this!!) Even though a scary awful situation brought us to PAH, we have now switched to PAH as our full-time vet, and we couldn't be happier!!!

Piscataqua Animal Hospital is excellent! The staff and especially Dr. Schafer is wonderful and very caring and attentive. My cat needed some major dental work recently, and Dr. Schafer performed the procedure and my cat is now doing great and back to eating normally. I highly recommend Piscataqua Animal Hospital!

While at MVMC on 12:24 with our cat, Kinsey who was experiencing respiratory distress, I received a text message from Dr Marchell. He stated that he saw that we had checked in and let us know that he was available to help. Now that is an example of “Above and Beyond!”
