Very unique and interesting place! You need to make a stop here if you’re in the area!

It's a cool store. It's big with lots of gear and guns. It can be a little confusing with the multi floor layout, but you'll enjoy the experience

We stop at this store while we're on our way to Ogunquit and points north, but I sometimes wonder if we visit points north while we're in the area of this store. Great store with a wide range of products. Where else can you buy sports clothing, shoes, a kayak, a tent, binoculars, Yeti products, and chocolate covered peanuts?

This review is strictly for the October tent sale & I must say that shit is fire ? I got some bomb ass Teva’s straight out of my latchkey kid childhood dreams FOR FIFTEEN DOLLARS. Future Emma is going to be thanking past Emma when I forget I own those babies and suddenly find them out come springtime. Also, I’m pretty sure these might be cute enough to post on my feet finder account later, going to mill it over.

It's like buc'ees without the brisket/fresh foods. Lots of stuff to see. The place is absolutely massive!

Sadly, I was not overly impressed. The employees that I actually found were very nice. The Big and Tall Men's section was sadly lacking. Their handgun selection was decent, with some fair sales happening. So, it's worth checking out. But, not if you're a big guy looking for any clothing.

All of the employees we encountered especially in the fudge department were exceptional very courteous and actually fun to transact with however the checkout experience was deplorable as they had many many closed cash registers with with one cashier and a long long line of customers patiently waiting.
This is probably a big reason why Amazon does so well.

The firearm department is worse than a pawn sbop, when it comes to selling them your items. They only give you the items 20% value, and after they sell it for 80% its value. A pawn shop will generally give you 15% more and sell it for 10% less.
Kittery Trading Post firearms department is worse than a pawn shop.... Pathetic.

So many demographics of people shop at the store at one time it’s amazing to go in here on a weekend and see all the people and the great products they sell. I love this place. The customers obviously seem happy. The employees are always really friendly and on the ball and they have a lot of interesting . Great products. They also have a lot of better higher end items that you would usually have to go to Boston to purchase.
Even if you don’t buy anything, it’s just fun to go and walk around. Plus they have a fudge chocolate stand so you can get yourself a treat.

I always find unique gifts there, including fun graphics in their warm wool socks. Additional finds in jewelry, and their large selection of clothing, shoes, and boots. My husband's favorite spot is upstairs, where the guns and ammo are located. It is also hard to resist their selection of roasted nuts, fudge, and treats that you can smell throughout the store! Oh, and be sure to order a lobster or two from their outside food eatery in the summer months!

KTP is a must-see if you're in Portsmouth/Kittery. It has tons of clothing for outdoor activities like fishing/hunting/hiking, and the gear to go with it. Closest thing I can liken it to, but on a smaller scale, is Cabellas or Bass Pro. Check it out!

KTP's firearms buying process is SO bad since the 72hr wait was implemented that it took me 1.5 hrs to leave with a firearm I had payed for almost a week in advance. And the person behind the counter got pissy with me when I said I couldn't wait any longer and needed a refund so I could leave. I spend thousands of dollars/year at KTP but will never purchase ANYTHING from KTP again.
