Really frustrating interaction with a manager when trying to use a crate and barrel credit card for a purchase. I haven’t encountered any issue at any other store prior. Hours are one more than one occasion incorrect on Google listing. Furniture is hit or miss.

This outlet store was a bit bare on the shelves. Mostly furniture, limited dishware, glasses, and servers.I only saw one set of Wusthof knives for sale. Nothing else. Lots of Christmas decorations.

Everything is damaged beyond repair. All of the furniture in good condition is bought by local businesses who resell it at a higher price (on Facebook or Craigslist). It’s better to look there. The people working there are nice.

Okay, first of all ... this is not a true "outlet" store. The majority of items except the furniture selection is the same price as any regular Crate & Barrel. The selection is just meh. As far as the furniture is concerned.. most of it has condition issues that require you to be real handy to repair - broken cabinet hardware, drawers off kilter, loose legs and very obvious knicks and scratches.. I would expect the prices on this type of condition to be more reasonable than it is. They try to make you feel better with signs that say 50 % off lowest price... but even then in my opinion this stuff is still not worth it! I definitely would not go out of my way on a trip to Kittery to visit this place.

Not worth more than a 20-minute ride. They are charging 40% off regular retail for furniture that would be hard to get rid of at a Salvation Army outlet -- seams coming apart, stains on the upholstery, dings out of the tables and armchairs. It seems like the pricing is wonky, there are a few good pieces but it's not worth a trip up from Boston, for sure.

Inventory seemed pretty thin and picked over, though maybe what you'd expect in mid/late August...

Poor quality. I purchased a sofa from this location for close to $3,000. Less than 2 years later the sofa is sagging in the middle due to an issue with the frame. Crate and Barrel does not stand behind purchases made from this store even for full price items. I will not purchase from C&B again simply for not standing behind the quality of their product.

We bought a gorgeous headboard and was put together on the showroom floor. When it came to picking it up they provided no hardware which then they claimed I signed knowing it was missing pieces. I did know it was missing a total of 2 bolts, however I got nothing. No worries, mistakes happen and we understand! What was upsetting was how the young lady on the phone handled it. She seemed to not care and push it off until they had more staff. We have been polite and kind but at this point we have to delay our move to our new house. Please fix this!

I was shopping at the Crate and Barrel in Kittery Maine and purchased a few items. I was with my mother and we are both black. A male sales associate with white hair and glasses stared at us and followed us around the store the whole time making us feel uncomfortable. It is unfortunate in 2023 you still have to experience “shopping while black”. Please educate your staff that this is unacceptable behavior. Unless of course upper management is encouraging this behavior.

I have been coming here for years and have always left with great finds to add to my home. Unfortunately, my past two visits have yielded nothing. The products have been average and many are exactly what’s carried in a regular Crate and Barrel (same price, same item). No more wonderful textiles, glass, etc.Is this a result of the pandemic? I think it’s going to be a long time before I return.

It can get a little packed in here. But you never know what you'll find - it is different each time we come here, which is exciting.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and found the store to be stocked fairly well. It's an outlet so your luck depends on the day. Keep in mind that many of the goods like plates, glasses, and cooking tools are priced the same as in the retail stores. Given that there doesn't seem to be a retail store north of the ones in Boston, this was probably done to fulfill these customer needs without the need of paying for shipping to say, Portland or further north. I was told that they have occasional category sales, like glassware. During my visit it happened to be 50% off all rugs. Besides this, the bulk of your deals will be final sale furniture, which seems to be primarily floor models, returns, or damaged items. Damage varies greatly, from a few tiny chips to major finish damage and missing parts. Pieces are priced accordingly and are marked down 10% each week they remain on the floor. I found the staff very friendly and accommodating. A bench I was eyeing was priced lower online and after confirming this on their system, they sold it to me at that price instead

Used to be better. Now it focuses on furniture which looks battered and bruised.
