“Such an enjoyable and colorful shopping experience with a great/thoughtful selection of super cute stuff. I am drawn to the cards but found so much more. Really great to have tons of independent artists' work on the walls (and for sale), as well. I have wanted to visit for a long time and am so glad I finally made the trip!”

53 Market St, Portsmouth“I never get tired of going into this gallery because there are so many beautiful, interesting and creative items to see. They have sublime fine crafts of all kinds -- jewelry, original paintings, prints, furnishings, glass, pottery, sculptures, clothing, etc. There's a sepia print of the HMS Bounty done by a local artist as a tribute to the famed ship that I was particularly enticed by. Also, the Portsmouth Upstairs Gallery is above the Barrett Gallery and has original fine art with an emphasis on nautical paintings.”
10AM - 5PM
276 York St, York“I had a great experience here during the Christmas season picking out a gift for my daughter. She wanted a slightly oversized cream colored fishermen's sweater and it was a little tricky figuring out the right size for her. The sales woman I worked with was very friendly and helpful, and in the end we ended up with the perfect fit. I'll totally be back. They had a wide range of items, some expected and others more unique. I'd say it was totally worth the trip to check it out, I know I'll be back.”
