We had a wonderful stay! The room was super nice, and we loved the outdoor sitting area—it was perfect for relaxing. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do.
We also enjoyed using the bikes and kayaks, which added to the experience. If you're someone who needs 24-hour front desk assistance, this might not be the place for you, but that didn’t affect us at all. We will definitely stay here again!

Just finished a 5 night stay at the Yachtsman. Overall a nice experience. We walked or biked into town everyday. It’s a quick trip to get there. It’s nice to be out of the main traffic area but still so close. Rooms were clean, well appointed and cute :). The front desk was unstaffed more than I’m used to. We had some issues with our safe and our tv and we had to wait longer than ideal for support. One of the main reasons we booked this property was because it had a pool, which can be a little tough to find so close to town. The pool was a disappointment. The photos are a bit misleading as the size of the pool is more like an oversized hot tub. The cushions to sit on are thin and uncomfortable. We stacked every single cushion on top of each other and it was still awful. Again, overall a nice stay. If you can snag a good rate, it’s absolutely worth it, otherwise I’m not 100% sure the value is there.

First time in Kennebunkport and loved this location. Quiet and close enough to walk downtown and a few blocks to the Arundel Wharf restaurant which has a delicious lobster stew. We loved being able to drive right to the front door of our room. The room feels like a private condo with well appointed features, high ceilings, beautiful marina view. Times walk in shower with soft robes. A few steps away we found complimentary smoothies, ice coffee or hot, tea water, orange juice or cold water. The marina outside seating area was inviting with bluestone patio, corn hole, comfortable chairs and couches, high top tables and perfectly selected music, a bistro euro style sound.

Excellent location that is walking distance to literally everything, free bikes for use, free kayaks for use, private patio and seating area outside every room that looks out onto the water. The rooms are recently renovated and gorgeous. Anytime we needed something, an associate could easily be found and always helped promptly - otherwise, they leave you alone to enjoy the peace and quiet. Was exactly what we were looking for, 10/10 experience, and we will be back.

The location is in their Marina itself. Rooms all look out on the Marina, which is very scenic. Rooms have heated floors and "mood" adjustable fireplaces. Offered is a complimentary continential breakfast (some bakery items, cereal, coffee, etc.)Walkability: Short walk to main street Kennebunkport

Location is great. Lacking hot water , rooms have poor lighting. Our light over the island didnt work.and staff said its old. (So is my credit card but it worked)Hotel cleaning staff rude and unatentive. Ice machine is way to far opposite end of rooms need 2 ice machines. All the doors stick and require some jiggles to operate. Rug was stained. Not great for over 500.00 per night.Have stayed here in the past and loved it. Need to get on the maintenance or this place will be in trouble

Update: Management staff reached out to apologize and let us know they would refund us, which I thought was really kind and helped take the sting out of how little value we received. However, the refund was never processed, even after I followed up. Kind of weird and disorganized to reach out and offer a refund, only to never follow through on it. :/Mixed feelings about this place. Overall, I feel like we overpaid for a mediocre stay. The room was clean and very cute. Best part was the view of the boats - we were fortunate to watch a spectacular sunset from our little 'yard'. However, a light bulb burnt out, the handle to the bathroom was broken, and the handle in the shower was broken. Hot water was questionable - I couldn't get warm water out of the sink at all. Also, the amenities were seriously lacking. They had maybe 8 adult bikes for everyone in the place, and at least 4 of them were broken (missing handles, etc). You should definitely make plans to get breakfast elsewhere, which is a shame when the rooms are running $500+ a night. That being said, the staff were very nice and friendly. Location is 5 stars.Overall, I'll be choosing a different spot the next time we're in KPT.

Really wonderful location, beautiful rooms, and good vibes. We treated ourselves to our first getaway with our three month old baby and loved the hotel. Housekeeping staff was great (thanks Horatio!!) and super attentive. On the flip side, front desk staff wasn’t great. Probably the least responsive and helpful experience in a long time, especially given the room cost. If you are expecting anything above and beyond, don’t look here. Limited hours don’t help.Breakfast is also pretty bad (comparable to a off-brand airport hotel), so I would recommend making other plans for food in the morning.Would love to come back if they could improve the experience!

Nice enough motel. Good location. Felt that that $800/night wasn’t a great value. Really cold p*** in early August, to the point of not being pleasant. Breakfast ordinary. Bicycle lack of maintenance caused one of us to have an accident and small injury. Friendly staff. Got the general feeling that everything is carefully value-engineered so they more money and not eager to provide up to par hospitality. When our high rates were locked we noticed a sizable drop in the pricing. It might pay to keep up with the fluctuations.
