“I was thoroughly delighted with the prime rib roast that I bought from Shields Meats and Produce!Just excellent! Definitely worth paying a little extra for a delicious prime rib like you get at a good restaurant! 320 F for 1:30 minutes was perfect for about a 3 1/2 pound roast!Many thanks to all the wonderful staff and Happy New Year to you all!”

“We stopped in for lunch and came away with new friends. We were just visiting this town. I had a soup, and my husband had a sandwich. The food was homecooked and felt 'cozy'. I had a chicken rice soup. While we waited for our meal, there was a wine tasting. I am not going to turn down wine! So, we met Gene and Beth. The lovely couple running this place. Gene gave us the entire run down and information on the vineyards, how these wines were organically made, and more. They were bubblies for New Years, and they were amazing. They didn't just taste some run of the mill wines, they tasted these unique, organic, inexpensive wines that were just delicious. We ended up purchasing three wines! We did not even consider buying wine. So, what I would say, stop in if you like wine and local foods. They even had cheese that his daughter makes locally in Maine. It was just a lovely experience. We will definitely be back.”
“Market Basket in Biddeford is Top Notch! With a lot of food prices going up with inflation, they have been able to keep their prices on their to-go foods the same. They have a large steak and cheese sandwich that looks like a footlong for $5.99! If you are in a hurry, just call ahead about 30 min prior to pick-up. I have priced out numerous items at competitor grocery stores and Market Basket it is by far the most economical place to go shopping for every item on your list! The store is always clean and the staff is friendly. Their baked items and produce are excellent. Huge fan!!! Keep up the great work.”

“Excellent fresh produce. Some of the best leafy greens EVER. I’m hooked on their bananas and avocados… they are so much better tasting here than anywhere else. Gluten free, dairy free, whatever it is you got it here. Prices are fair and sometimes big sales! And if that’s not enough they have beautiful unique hand made gifts. Love this store.”
“Okay, here's the scoop. It is junkie. It is disorganized but not messy. Some items are in multiple but completely unrelated places. Look and you might find. LOLAll that aside, this Dollar General Store has a decent variety of items from food and beverages to toiletries to household items to toys and beyond. If you need it you just might find it here, within reason of course.The staff here seems friendly enoughI've not had the occasion to ask for help but I have an idea shoppers will fare better by simply looking for their shopping wants & needs.The times I've been in it was steady but not horribly busy. I was in and out quickly and experienced little to no wait when ready to checkout.I like shopping here. But each has to go try it then decide if it is for them or not.”

“The Hannaford grocery store located in Wells, Maine is a very good grocery store. It is conveniently located. They have plenty of free parking. The store and the parking lot is clean. The store is thoroughly stocked. Everyone that we encountered were very friendly. The prices were reasonable. We recommend this grocery store.”

“This is another one of Maine's little jems. You can get prepared meals, deli meats and the sandwiches were phenomenal. The staff are great and very pleasant. They even sell Prime Rib. Can't wait to go back when the weather is alittle warmer and bring their sandwiches to the beach!”
“Went into Hannaford today to grab a few things for dinner tonight because I didn't feel like going to Market Basket and WOW the service here was amazing. Carolanne at the register was so kind and funny. She is great at small talk which is what Market Basket lacks. Will definitely be coming back!”

“I love shopping at Market Basket. Everything is lower prices to compare with Hannaford or Shaw's. I also enjoy having a quick bite before starting some shopping. $2.99 for a cheese burger and fries, no one can beat that. The taste is not bad at all. They made it fresh as you ordered. I also had a pound of chicken wings to go. It's delicious. And Market Basket pickles are absolutely perfect. Not too sour or too sweet. Had it for a snack, one daily. Shave beef is absolutely my favorite. Save tons of my time from cutting the meat into a small piece. I used it for a stir fry beef and broccoli. It's so tender and super delicious.”
“Easily the best pizza in Maine and their daily homemade desserts are my new obsession (try the cookie whoopie pie - you’re welcome) I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu! Owners are extremely nice, welcoming and remember faces. This is definitely a hidden gem.”

“I have been there with my son who has autism and grocery stores he normally doesn't do well in I have been here almost every day since the day he was born there workers I can count a handful the one who always has fabulous long nails who always greets us when we are there the one who wears a wrist brace with blong hair amazing and will get it done the night worker he looks young blong hair glasses braces and has an accent amazing with carmyne and I think her name is Michelle night manager has glasses also amazing my son ? absolutely loves shaws because of these people he may be having a fir and then see one of them and a new person appears I just wanna say thank you for making my shopping so much easier ? we love you all !”
“Used self checkout. Was asked to weigh it. Place it on area that indicated it was a scale. ( big scale sign. ). Didn’t work, so I asked for assistance. Store employee said to ignore the sign as it wasn’t a scale. I asked her where the real scale was and she said in front of the scanner. I asked her why it wasn’t marked that it was the real scale. She said she didn’t know. Other customers nearby also were wondering the same.”

“One of the rarest pharmacies in the US. These folks do amazing work and help whenever they can. I can't say enough good, if you are looking for a pharmacy in the area you can't do better. Thank you to the pharmacist and the lovely woman who mans the register for really getting to know me and creating a real relationship. The woman at the register with the beautiful eyes asks me all the time how my life is going and each time it feels like catching up with an old friend.”

Groceries, automotive section, just about anything for your home and decent prices to boot. What's not to like in these trying financial times with inflation creeping up by the day.”

“Bradbury Brothers Market has the best whoopie pies in New England. I've tried them all, and these are the best. They make lots of great baked goods on site. The chocolate chip cookies are great! The new owner is onsite everyday. I took a picture of her holding my favorites. Cowboy cookies, brownies, and turnovers are mouthwatering. The deli makes great sandwiches too. My favorites are the Thanksgiving Turkey sandwich, on the menu year round, and the Patriot Bomb steak sandwich. They are awesome! Great store, and friendly staff.”
