We were visiting Maine for the first time and came across this charming store. We bought chocolate cordials our first day in town from a polite young man at the store. We went back the next day for candy to take back home. The manager was unfriendly, and threw the cordials in a box without their wrappers. I went back to ask her to re-do the box and she was awful. Condescending and rude. Awful representative for a lovely shop.

The fudge was honestly the best fudge I’ve ever had. The salted caramel chocolate fudge was to die for. The turtles were also delicious.

The Candy Man is a candy store in the heart of Kennebunkport. My husband and I visited this store a few times during our visit to town. It was quite popular and often crowded. There is a great variety of offerings and all of the chocolates we had were delicious. We will return!

Stopped in for the first time on July 2, 2024. Their selection was better than I had expected and their prices are okay. But, the real gem of the place is Haley! She was helpful, informative, knowledgeable, friendly... just a true delight to interact with. She is, by far, one of the best!

Fairly large selection of taffy, fudge and other sweet assortments. I do love their Halloween version of peeps. The staff was nice and rang us up quickly.
