I just can understand why I was charged an additional $3.88 for a letter containing gift cards. The post office worker told me it was because it was not bendable and she charged me for a package. I receive letters sized envelopes with gift cards in them all the time and never have paid this ridiculous charge.

At least once or twice a week it seems like I don’t have mail deliveries. Yesterday I printed postage for a small box and as of this afternoon it still sits in my mailbox. Seems like reliability is a problem. Can I expect changes for the positive? I’ve been unable to reach the Post Office by telephone.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have had multiple items damaged by our mail carrier, mail is constantly bent in half (including hardcover books!) or left in the ditch that I have to crawl into to retrieve. It has been days since my mail had been delivered. Currently missing 4 packages that have been out for deliver for the past 3 days! Absolutely awful! Impossible to call! I loathe the Kennebunk postal service

I absolutely hate this delivery service. I have had two packages that were a "attempted delivery" but no one knocked on the door and No one rang the doorbell. I was home waiting for those packages both times. I literally stayed in the living room area close to the door waiting and they just threw an attempted delivery slip on the ground and left. Both of those packages were very important and needed to be delivered in a timely manner. Unbelievably unprofessional!

Staff is incredibly rude and condescending if you dare to not know every single rule about mailing things via USPS. Like literally downright mean for no reason; I am appalled. So sorry you chose to work here even though you hate the public.

I don't know what it takes to simply get mail delivered and delivered to the correct address. But this post office does not know how to do it or doesn't care or both. I am appalled that this is an office I have to rely on in any way.

I was told today that Only cash in small bills is accepted for a purchase or service…… and that this is the case for all USPS offices across the country. No debit or credit cards.I had to leave and go to Hannafords for cash .Can this be true ??

Before John retired things ran smoothly. There's been a high turnover since. There is one gentleman there now at the window I like very much. He is always friendly yet professional. As for the others it's hit or miss.Since COVID customer service has "left the building."

I am utterly confused by the low ratings for this post office. I have been there several times and the folks there are nothing short of terrific and it also seems there are quite a few regulars who have good relationships with them. I get my mail and packages regularly and even when I had lost my slip for a package that needed a signature, the clerk was cracking jokes with me. In any case, thanks for all you do. I appreciate you!

Post Office. Unbelievable problems I am having with USPS delivery here. Lost mail, packages delivered to my neighbors even though our mailbox, front door, and house all have the house number clearly displayed? One time I found my package on the back steps of an abandoned house two doors away. I've had to deliver packages and mail to people who leave on another street over a mile away and first-class mail to neighbors down the street. Mail being delivered while a mail hold was in place; packages so jammed in mailbox that I cannot pull them out by myself; package apparently left across street on front door/flap of mailbox that then fell to ground with flap still open! We have lived in many different USPS locations and we've NEVER had these problems. I would complain to post office, but a few times I've been in there, I've heard what sounds like packages or bins falling to floor, followed by hysterical laughter and shouts - certainly not very professionally run, IMO. What a black mark on this wonderful community!!!!

Everyone there seems to be so nice and service has significantly improved however I was horrified today when I went into the small lobby and saw that customers and some employees are not wearing masks. With this area in the red with Covid transmission I was shocked. As a senior with health issues, I will never go there again.

Often one of the slowest post offices I’ve been to. They have a sign for leaving pre-paid packages in the hamper, yet rarely have an actual hamper to do so. There was a line of about a dozen people today, and since all my packages were pre-paid/labeled, I went up (between customers) to ask about leaving them after waiting in line for about 5 minutes. The gal told me that she was the only one there and she didn’t have a hamper available, so to wait a second. Not knowing what her intent was during the second I was supposed to wait, I went back to my place in line to wait there, and she never put a hamper out or offered to take my packages. It was finally my turn, and I said that I just need a hamper to put all of my pre-paid packages. She had a bit of attitude and said, “I told you I didn’t have any hampers available.” I responded that she also told me to also hold on “a second”, to which she said, “Yeah, and then you got in line” as if I was the one doing something wrong or being rude. Something that should take seconds here seems to too often take way too long, and at times comes with a bad attitude! A week or so ago, they were closed (window only, PO box lobby was open) with a sign in the window saying sorry no employee availability that day (and, of course, no hamper to leave prepaid packages)!!!

Our neighbors regularly get our mail. I got a regular size birthday card for my mother returned to my address that had 2 stamps on it over.10 cents. Have had generally unpleasant experiences with the people at the office.
