Emailed Old House Parts to find a replacement for a spring in a swing door. Mike, the owner, remembered he had one on a door in his inventory and it was the complete assembly, which is easier to replace. I'm actually in Chicagoland and Mike shipped the full replacement assembly with the working spring for a very reasonable price! Thank you Mike for fixing this issue for us! Our swing door now returns properly to its right position :).

My sister and I went here looking for a latch to put on our basement door. We found one that matches exactly with the rest of the historic home's hardware, and our basement door now stays shut whenever there is an uptick in spiritual activity down there.{I told Milly not to buy that damn creepy box at the antique estate sale last spring, but she did anyway, and ever since, we've been getting all sorts of weird paranormal exploitations}.

My 15 yr old daughter was in absolute heaven. They have pretty much anything that you need from screws, handles and knobs, to doors and windows for any antique styles you want from a wide variety of years for building. They have gas stoves, gas fireplaces, lighting features, tubs, sinks, countertops, etc for interior design. They even have reclaimed lumber. We were simply overwhelmed and impressed with just so many different things and how large the location was.

A fantastic architectural salvage store. From the organization to prices and employees it's perfect! The history of the building is fantastic in itself. They have a wide selection of windows, doors, mantels, stained glass and much more! Definitely worth a trip to check it out!! Great people

The place where old house parts get a second life. There has to be 500 doors alone. Bathtubs, windows, locks, hardware, hinges, etc., etc. Make sure you bring your measurenents and have an hour plus to spend browsing one of the most awsome assembly of old parts in the tristate area!

I didn't even know about this place until recently because it's on Trackside Drive, which is off the beaten 'track' of Rt 35. I liked the antique stained glass, stoves, and fireplace mantels. There was some interesting framed antique paintings and an eye-catching wooden sculpture of a Native American chief. The antique bathtubs in the parking lot were also eye-catching.

This was a fascinating place to explore, and made me wish I was handy enough to say, install an antique door. Walls of door knobs, drawers of hinges, a room filled with old window frames, one could spend hours browsing and dreaming up projects.
