Im very picky about my Pomeranian grooming. Bri did an amazing job. The owner is very knowledgeable and I definitely appreciated her concern for my dog and his grooming needs. Definitely recommend for all grooming needs. Thank you all for taking care of my Smokey’s needs while we are traveling in the area for work.

Joan and Alyssa did a great job on Ladybug and Diamond as they do every grooming appointment. Ladybug was a mess this month as a result of having to have cancerous mammary glands removed as well as 3 other growths removed. Needless to say Ladybug was missing fur on her leg from the catheter, from her side, butt and tummy for the growth and tumor removal. To top it off she had ripped her stitches out near the drain that had been placed in her belly, causing a mess of drainage yuck all over her legs and belly. I am disabled and I know I didn't do a great job of getting Ladybug completely clean, it was tough just keeping her open wound clean and dabbed with medication to prevent complications from the open wound. Joan looked at Ladybug's surgery site as I explained what happened. I told Joan I was ok if she needed to shave down Ladybug's legs etc due to the mats etc. Joan assured me that she would be careful of the surgery sites in case Ladybug was sore in those areas. Joan did a wonderful job on Ladybug. Her skirt is even all the way around and her legs shorter than normal so that the front leg with the naked band around it isn't as noticable as it was with the long fur on her legs/paws. Ladybug is sporting more of a field cut which is perfect for now since we are expecting a snow storm and that causes Ladybug to get snowballs stuck in her fur. Shorter fur means less snowballs to deal with.Once the weather is better we can grow Ladybug's coat out again if desired.Diamond was more matted as a result of snow and rain. She is small and gets snowballs stuck to her since she tries to follow Ladybug in the snow filled yard and often gets stuck. I asked Alyssa to shorten Diamond's legs more this month due to the next snow storm in order to help with the snowballs etc. Alyssa uses a special shampoo she purchases for her white furred clients, which is amazing stuff. Diamond's white fur is so bright, smooth and lovely smelling. Both Alyssa and Joan have scissor skills far beyond those at other grooming establishments in the area. Both dogs have even skirts and paws. There are NEVER razor burns on the dogs under the legs (arm pits as I call them) or on the ears, or have they been shaven down to nothing because it was easier for the groomer. ( I was often shocked to pick up bald-naked dogs when I used other local grooming establishments in the area because I gave clear directions as to the type of cut I wanted and it was not shave down to bald and then pay an extra $30 for the baldness). In summary, I have used groomers in many areas of the country since 1982 for my rescued Cocker Spaniels and these two women Joan and Alyssa are hands down the best I have had the pleasure of doing business with. There are a lot of grooming companies in Southern Maine you can pick from. However if you want a grooming establishment that is kind to your animal, clean, has extremely skilled groomers, NEVER keeps your animal there for 6-8 hours, listens to your concerns and desires as to how you want your pet to look. And most of all, ARE ONLY SURPRISED FOR THE GOOD when you pick up your pet because of how WONDERFUL they lookand not in horror because the groomer did something you did not ask for, then PAWFECTIONS on 9A in Kennebunk should be the groomers you choose for your pet.Again, thank you Joan and Alyssa at PAWFECTIONS for making my girls look spectacular!

I've been searching for a groomer for over a year since I returned from Florida. Pawfections is the first one ( and there are many. ) Who have attention to detail. They listened to my desires and delivered. I'm really happy that I finally found a groomer who cares. THANK YOU!!

Very happy with Buddy’s groom at Pawfections. Was great being able to schedule online as we are nomads and have limited dates. Hannah did a great job with Buddy and was so sweet to him when we dropped him off. We added some “creative” elements and they turned out awesome. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommend.Lucky to have received a fast appointment (reserve online) for Jameson, who isn’t a fan of groomers and hates being without his brother. But they took great care of him.The service was outstanding and the prices reasonable!Thank you Pawperfection!

Don’t answer their phone and refer you to website to book, which doesn’t always work. When it does, it takes all your credit card details and $25 a non-refundable deposit unless booking is canceled. Problem is… impossible to cancel appointment on their website and they don’t answer their phone. I’ve left messages to cancel but have received no response from them. Very annoying

Terrible experience and terrible response by owner Alina. My Wheaton terrier has been groomed at this facility every 6 weeks. At his last appointment, the groomer cut my dog on front and hind leg. He required a vet visit and was prescribed antibiotics and a shot. The cost was $313.00. When I spoke to the owner, she said my dog was never serviced by them and I must have them confused with another groomer. I told her if that was true, why did I just get a reminder for his appointment the next day. I told him my only concern was to be sure that the same thing didn’t happen at his grooming appointment. She became indignant and said they have cameras in their facilities and no such incident happened. I have never seen a business operate it takes absolutely no responsibility for severely injuring a poor dog. This business should not be supported by the community of animal lovers. Cruelty to animals and not excepting responsibility can never be tolerated.

Our 18 month old Giant Schnauzer Freddie is a handful. Went in for his first grooming in 4 months and Alaina gave him his best haircut ever!! We can only imagine what she could do with a calm dog who behaves. If we could give 10 stars we would. He is a sharp dude now.
