This was a tech appointment for a vaccine for one of my dogs, a very anxious boy. Jen was wonderful with him, as always. She is very experienced and she knows me and each of my four dogs. It is always a pleasure to see her.

We love bringing our furry family members here and have been doing so for well over a decade. During our most recent visit for our laid-back kitty, Dr. Smorczewski (who we had never met before) took the time to throughly explain all our treatment options and was excellent with her. Our nervous mess of a pup is NOT a fan of the vet but is likewise treated with kindness and understanding, and they do all they can to make it the easiest possible experience. I can't imagine taking either of them to anyone else.

Outstanding, kind care. From helping us bring Walter from the car to the hospital and back, easing his fright, answering our many questions about his FIP, and then following up with an article after his appointment. Also, answering our questions about our older cat who needs dental work, and not making us feel rushed.Dr. Smores and her team are outstanding!

I want to thank Dr O and his assistant for the wonderful care we received today. Our Marnie is extremely sensitive and they were so patient with our little girl and with her human Mom. KVH has been a part of our family for over 24 yrs! We love you guys and appreciate the care you give our fur babies and their parents. 10 STARS!

All the staff at Kennebunk Veterinary Hospital are wonderful to work with. You can tell by each interaction how much they care for the animals they treat. My Ruby loves to go to the vet!

Our 14 year old terrier mix Jonas suffers from anxiety especially with thunderstorms. With the wall of weather coming this week, he anticipated this weather by panting, shaking, and acting very confused...hadn't eaten or drank in 24 hours. We arrived and were greeted by our vet tech and student shadow (we didn't get their names but they were amazing), and got to meet Dr. Smorczewski. She immediately started engaging with our pup, examining him ON THE FLOOR with great care and empathy. She quickly diagnosed him, gave him meds for his stomach, meds for comfort, and fluid to relieve his dehydration. When our boy came back to our exam room with the techs and Dr. Smorczewski, he was fine! Calmed down, not panting, no confused look....it was almost a miracle. He's home sleeping now, and my wife and I can't say enough about Dr. Smorczewski, the vet techs, AND the schedulers for getting him in early this morning. I hope we don't need to rush him to the vet again, but if we do we know we are in VERY good hands.

At my last appointment, Jen was absolutely fabulous. She went over in detail about my puppy's upcoming spay surgery which I have been extremely worried about because she is so small. I have complete confidence & trust in Dr. Smorczewski and was very happy to hear that Jen is her surgical assistant for the surgery.

Almost a year later, and I still mourn my sweet kitty, Emma, who died of multiple cancer tumors. What haunts me is that the tumors weren't caught sooner even though I had brought her in multiple times with concerns. It might not have changed the end result but it might have shortened her probable suffering. I will never get another pet as a result.

I moved 30 minutes north of the vet I’ve been at for 20 years, & continued there for three years after this move; but last summer my dog bloated & I realized 30 minutes makes a big difference in a crisis. So when I returned this summer, I decided to look closer to my new house, & a friend recommended Dr. O. after her dog also died. When I read the bios for these vets, I see 2 went to the same vet school where I’ve been learning about what causes bloat and the importance of how food is formulated, not just ingredients that sound good to humans. So it feels really good to know this Vet was trained at the same place where I’ve been learning all my information on nutrition this past five months . I want to be able to have intelligent conversations with my vets about my dogs who, now that my kids are all grown, these dogs are my family.

I’ve been bringing my three cats here for a few years now and truly appreciate how helpful and kind everyone is. Each cat has had various health concerns that the staff has been able to help resolve. They have always been able to fit me in to be seen sooner rather than later and were even willing to board one of my cats (Cronus) last minute for me when I went on vacation and he wasn’t feeling well enough to be left at home. Thank you for always answering my questions and concerns and for taking great consideration of my cat’s health.

So grateful to Dr Powell & staff that were able to take us in at the last minute. My 5 yr old hound mix Ruby had a run in with a squirrel/tree! ? Thank you for the love and support during her, not so easy surgery.

I've trusted them with the care of my pets for the last 30 years. In all that time they have been completely dedicated to keeping each animal happy, healthy, and living their best lives. They are caring and empathetic and there for their customers (both animal and human) through the good times and the bad. Highly recommend.
