Having read some of the recent reviews, I’m glad that I’m not the only person who is entirely displeased with the level of customer service. There’s an apparent deficit in customer service skills at this particular branch in Kennebunk, and surprisingly, most of my interactions have been at the manager level. There’s several times on the phone where I was made to feel like I was inconsequential as a customer. In one call, I had asked her to clarify something that could only be done internally. When she had given me one piece of information but nothing else, I then asked her to go ahead with the other information I had requested in our phone call. I guess she couldn’t be bothered by an ordinary customer, and she made that clear by saying “Jesus Christ” under her breath, but not so quiet as I heard that, along with frustration in her voice. I would have taken this up with the manager of the bank, but that wouldn’t have done any good, because she WAS THE MANAGER when this occurred. I’m glad I took my business to a different bank—one that knows how to treat customers with respect.

Should anyone at this branch have extended a bit of courtesy, they surely would have received a five star review here. Sadly, their presumptiveness and lack of effort have earned them an equal share of disrespect and the most scathing review this potential borrower could offer. Good luck here.
