Very disappointing service. I purchased a pallet of stone on a Saturday and was told Justin would call on Monday to set up a delivery, likely for Tuesday. Justin called on Tuesday to say he couldn't get a driver out until Friday. Scheduled the time for Friday. Two and a half hours after the delivery window ended, I called to inquire on the status. Holly said I wasn't on the schedule for today and deliveries had concluded. She transfered me to Justin who said I had been on the schedule but their previous deliveries took too long. Apparently when he decided he would not follow through on his promise to deliver at the agreed upon time, he decided it was not worth notifying us. I feel disrespected and unvalued as a customer.

I recently experienced the most incredible service at Granville Stone and Hearth in Holden, ME. They went above and beyond during a tough situation I found myself in, offering their help without any expectation of payment or future returns. It’s rare to encounter a business that acts purely out of kindness, and I was deeply touched by their generosity. The team at Granville Stone and Hearth are not just professionals; they are genuinely good people. Highly recommended for their excellent service and commendable ethos. As a business we take a great deal of pride in treating people with patience, respect and being there to answer all questions and offer guidance long after the purchase is made. We look for these same attributes when we are making a purchase. When it comes to these same qualities, Granville Stone and Hearth does not disappoint!We decided to put in a new patio and thought it would be fun to do the project ourselves. Although we had never done this type of project before, the folks at Granville made the job a hundred times easier than it could have been. Justin, the store manager, was there for us every step of the way, always taking our phone calls and always happy to offer his expert advice.From the first swipe of our credit card to the last stone laid and beyond, Granville's customer service has been five star. If you have a project, don't think twice about putting your trust in these folks. You won't be disappointed.

The whole staff was very helpful. They are so knowledgeable about all the different products.. The store displays the stoves, inserts & fireplaces, so you can see and feel the products before you buy. You can definitely see the high quality of the different products.. I have been to many fireplace stores and this one is top notch..

We bought a Ravelli Pellet stove from this company a few years ago. The service from Granville has been a yearly challenge for us. A few weeks ago, the stove refused to turn off and caught on fire. We were told by Granville that this had also happened to another customer. An estimate from Granville quoted $500.00 to get the stove back into working order. Although we feel this is now a consumer safety concern, we decided since we have $1000.00 worth of pellets sitting outside, to have it repaired for use this winter. We advised Granville of our decision and were told the stove would be picked up and repaired. That was two weeks ago and last night the temperature outside was in the teens. The stove is in our large family room and is the only source of heat for it.

seller of over priced trash ! my mom is 82 years old . For some reason my family started buying heating units from these guys ; i've always said they are over prices . but ten years ago they would service what they sold . not now !My brother works over 70 hours a week to help support my mom who lives with him . they've have bought many different unit ; the last 4 have been unsafe ! one pellet stove exploded sending glass flying . think it was Irregular they bought a new one ! though my brother cleans it twice a week it stops working about every 90 days and cost them a lot to get it running again . a gas fireplace they bought the pilot light doesn't work right ! and last they bought a cook stove for $6600 ( why i don't know it was the highest they priced ) with in the first few weeks the fire bricks started to move . though my brother has called and text them , it's almost been a year trying to get this stuff fix . Granville Stone & Hearth said that they would replace the bricks , but it will cost a service charge ! I stay sue them ! Al Lowe
