Ironbound Restaurant & Inn
1513 US-1, HancockStopped in here for dinner with family while visiting back in Maine. This was our first time here. I believe this was the last weekend they were open for the season. The restaurant is a step above. The dining selection including the day's made the my dinner choice very difficult. In addition the signature cocktails were very refreshing. I enjoyed the smoked old fashioned immensely. The server provided excellent customer service with a high attention to detail. The dining choices were completely enjoyed by all at the table. Finally, prices were commensurate with quality of the dining experience. I can't wait to check this out again.

Crocker House Country Inn
967 Point Rd, HancockGreat little place. We stayed in a cozy little room and drove to Acadia in the mornings. Breakfast is delicious and the rooms are clean. It's about a 45min drive to Acadia, which isn't bad at all.Nearby activities: Acadia National ParkFood & drinks: Breakfast was awesome. Usually at bed and breakfasts you eat what they make. Here our waitress gave us a menu and we picked whatever we wanted. I had blueberry pancakes and bacon one morning and a salmon pepper omelette the next.

Ruth and Wimpy's Restaurant
792 US-1, HancockThis place is one of those hidden gems that makes you wish you could add an extra star or two.Highly recommend. Prices are a fraction of the tourist traps and for sweet tourist must haves like loberster roll or my new favorite lobster grilled cheese. I spent about what I was quoted in Bar Harbour for just a soup on adult drink, loberster bisque, lobster grilled cheese and a giant slice of cake.I stopped by on the day they were closed to take pictures with my dogs to spread the word on this place I might have missed since it was not on any top list i could find for acadia. Just driving by I assumed they likely had terrible food and stupid high prices bc they has such a cute outside with lobster and boat/trap. I asked the staff how in the world this place wasn't on any list and they said probably bc they rely on word of mouth. So here I am making sure Google doesn't fail another person searching for "dog friendly lobster rolls near Acadia".Thier dog friendly patio is absolutely perfect for your furry friends. Nice covered booths and big water bowls. Staff was exceptional and let me luxuriate over my feast even though i was there off season and late at night. I couldnt resist the big picture menu before heading back to a campsite for the night. Everywhere should use giant pictures that look exactly like what you're going to get like this place! Pictures did not disappoint. I only say expect to spend more because you will definitely not pass on the soup, sea food add ons, dessert and a second item to indulge and send yourself into a food coma before heading home. Everything about this place was awesome.
