“We stayed a week and enjoyed this location tremendously. We walked along the beach everyday and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. It’s located in a quiet area and close to restaurants, Bar Harbor, and Acadia Park. The food was delicious and Sarah and Dax went out of their way to make everything perfect. I would definitely stay there again.”

Nearby activities: BH motel has a pool and offers different activities each day for families.
Walkability: There is a bus stop at the front of the property for the Bar Harbor bus loop.”
“Our family oomfortably stayed here for one night and loved it. The pool was perfect and even provided pool toys. The room was clean, cute and provided everything we needed. The cot I requested when I had previously booked our reservation was waiting for us in the room when we walked in. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and excellent. Finally, you can’t beat the location. Highly recommend!”
“We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and we loved it. The rooms are pretty big and have unrestricted view to the ocean. The place is clean and offers few activities for kids. Easy to access cruises from the pier close to the hotel. The breakfast was very good, with healthy options and very tasty fruits. Easy access to Acadia national park.”

“This was a great hotel! We stayed for 3 nights in June with a toddler. The room was cozy. the breakfasts were tasty with a nice variety of options. We enjoyed the pool, the rocking chairs and the cold water by the elevator.
We would definitely stay here again.
Location and parking was very convenient.”
“Clean spaces. Open spaces inside are clean and comfortable. The lobby has a chalet like feel. Restaurant is quaint . Very clean overall.
Rooms: Clean spacious rooms. Beautiful view on the second floor overlooking Forest Island in Frenchman's bay.
Nearby activities: Shopping and eating at walking distance a small block away.
Safety: Very safe!

“This was a great location to stay in Bar Harbor! It's walkable to downtown and the harbor, offers spacious, clean rooms and a convenient "grab 'n go" breakfast of yogurt, muffins, oatmeal, coffee and tea. Overall a great experience staying at the Little Fig!”
“Excellent stay at Mount Desert Inn. Beautiful rooms, very modern and clean. Lovely friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Excellent location with lots of restaurants in convenient walking distance. Nice complimentary breakfast provided each morning. Would definitely stay again. Great location for visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Plenty of parking on site

“Very happy with our stay. If you are looking for a quiet place not far from the main path, this is the spot. One of the things we loved most about the Manor was the available free and secure parking lot. Parking in downtown can be expensive and we were able to save by walking instead. It's a 10 minute walk to get to downtown.
The staff is also more then helpful with offering recommendations on best places to eat and even provides a free grab and go breakfast every morning. The breakfast consists of hot coffee/tea, yogurt, cereals, bananas, and fruit bars. The rooms are also clean and comfortable with amazing air conditioning. Bar Harbor got pretty humid during our stay and we were grateful for it! There is also a large enough fridge to put lunch/dinner leftovers in too. Thank you Bar Harbor Manor for an easy stay!

“This place completely exceeded our high expectations. Our room, Rockaway, was beautiful, very comfortable and spacious. The entire property is also beautiful and inviting. We honestly felt at home after the first day. Innkeeper Sara, and her assistant, Kat, were unbelievably accommodating and genuinely engaging, offering many ideas to help us and all the guests maximize their stay in BH. We can’t say enough about this great place. The location is outstanding, close to the best parts of BH Village, yet extremely quite and isolated form the bustle of tourists only 2-3 blocks away. We will come back.”

“SO clean & great location!!!
The Edenbrook Motel is absolutely lovely! ✨? It gives the convenience of a motel while also having pristine and comfy rooms!
The receptionist who checked us is was extremely friendly and gave us all the information that we needed for our stay. The room itself was extremely clean, with two very comfy beds. The bathroom was also very large and squeaky clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure!
The location of this motel is excellent ? It is about a 20min walk from downtown Bar Harbor. However, if you're not one for walking, the free Island Explorer shuttle has a stop right in front of the motel! This shuttle does a loop of downtown and you can get to Acadia natl park using the shuttle! ?️
We will absolutely be staying at the Edenbrook Motel when we are back in Bar Harbor!”

“Front desk would not let us use their outlet to charge our car due to energy costs. Running their 220v AC unit in the room would cost them more, so does not make sense to why cause trouble for people who are on vacation for no cost to them…”

“Edit** we came back here, 6yrs later and still enjoyed it as much as we did the first time around!!
It was a very cozy, welcoming feel to the whole place. The rooms are quite small but plenty comfortable enough, especially since we were gone exploring the island most of the day. All of the staff were very friendly, informative, and helpful. The small touches make it worthwhile.. we loved the convenient laundry facility, the chairs outside each room, a clean pool, and bon fire area give the place something extra! We will definitely be back if we ever visit the area again!”

The view was fantastic, the landscaping around the Inn was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was attentive, courteous and friendly. The location was within walking distance to stores, restaurants and harbor cruises. Would go back in a heartbeat!!”

“What a great hotel! Really close to Acadia and Bar Harbor and the entire Mont Desert Island area. The staff is the stand out feature. Very comfortable, nice rooms with what you need for a four-day vacation. Breakfast was good, same-same for hotels, but the coffee was quite good which is a big plus.
The staff are pleasant, helpful, and genuine. A grerat value.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to visit the area.”

“We were so happy with our stay here. Everything from the front desk staff and bellman to the beautifully elegant grounds to the historically decorated hallways and rooms made this inn one that we are certain to return to! The location is right on the water & we walked along the bay to have dinner on the wharf. We were welcomed with a complimentary Prosecco on the patio. Our room had a beautiful gas fireplace that we used both in the evening and morning. I loved the convenience of a coffee station in the room as I was getting ready. The decor in the room was charming & added to the atmosphere. Complimentary breakfast was unexpected and very appreciated! Thank you for a lovely addition to our Maine vacation!

“Great views- staff was knowledgeable. Only wish we had been there for an evening meal, restaurant was closed except for weekends. We were there Thursday. Went back for breakfast, which was yummy.

“A bit over priced, but I loved it. We had an ocean view room with 2 king beds. The room decor was dated but very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom needs to be updated and fixed as the tub was wobbly and there was mold in various spots.We were on the second floor with a balcony. It was beautiful! We were right next to the restaurant which is only open for breakfast 6 days a week but the deck from the restaurant is accessible at all times and has some fire tables and a beautiful view.We would go to the main resort for the piano player and a cocktail in the evening. Such a nice add. They also had more coffee, water fountain to fill out bottles before hiking and a cute gift shop.The staff were friendly and helpful. Upon check in they provided us with a dog bowl and some p*** bags.It is a good 15 minute walk to town, downhill there and uphill on the way back. There is a shuttle that goes to town but we liked to walk.All in all, I really enjoyed our stay. I would go again. The prices are too high for the accomodations unless they update the rooms, but I really like this little resort.”

“This was such a cute place to stay. They are working on improvements. The room was very clean, comfy beds and nice staff. We enjoyed it's location to Walmart, souvenir shops and places to eat. Price was great and 30 min to Hull Visitor Center in Acadia. Really enjoyed our stay.
Rooms: Rooms were clean, comfy beds. Plenty of space to spread out.
Nearby activities: Plenty of places to eat and loved the Whistling Bouy store which is nearby as well as the lumberjack show.
Noteworthy details: Rooms are being redone and look nice. Very comfortable.”
