I run a small business and one of the people here (the older woman) didn't scan the label on the package I handed in, and therefore I didn't get a shipping label, and it was lost for awhile. The customer did get the package still in the end but it was pretty distressing for both of us to not know where it was

Loses mail. Sent to another town. They couldn't care less if they retrieve it. No apology. I was told there was nothing I can do.

The Hampton post office is the worst. They deliver my mail when they feel like it. They decide which pieces of junk mail I get and which ones I don’t need. I often times get my mail pieces a day or two after informed delivery tells me I should get it. I had meds shipped by Express Scripts and I never got them. They never showed up. They delivered them to someone else. Express Scripts had to resend them to me. Now my birthday gift that was sent by my daughter and one other item was marked as delivered yesterday and they were not there. They stated they left it on my porch by my ring camera didn’t record that and it recorded everything before the time and everything after so my ring camera was fine. they are by far the most incompetent post office I have ever seen. When I complained about it, the postmaster said that all employees of the post office have immunity and that they don’t have any recourse for those who may have affected or miss handled our packages and or Mail. Something needs to be done about this

Im dyslexic and even I can read numbers. Employees need to make sure packages are going into the right mailboxes and porches. I guess going forward, I will have to wait for the mail to come and approach them for my package because they can not be trusted to put my package in the right box.

I have lived all over the US, and I have not come across such terrible mail delivery service. Our packages get flagged that we requested to have them held at the post office. I have never put in this request, yet it consistently gets put in for me. If I have two packages where one fits the box and the other doesn't, they will put the small one in the box. Then, they will claim that I put in a request to have the other held. Today at 4:06pm, I received a message from Amazon that usps attempted to deliver at 7:06pm, but that I had once again requested to have it held. I have not once asked for this, and it would be nice not having to drive 40 minutes out of my way to come pick up these packages because you don't want to drive down my driveway. Do better.

I have a business in Hampden (MyMaineFarmhouse), and I mail and receive a lot of packages from this facility. They are always helpful and friendly. I've never had one single negative experience with them. Every town should be so fortunate to have such wonderful postal workers doing their absolute best to do their job. Thank you to all of you who work there!

No one answers the phone at this facility and there is no way to contact them. Parcel was miss delivered to who knows where and I wanted to check to see where they delivered it. Someone needs to be called on the carpet for the poorly run operation.

In person, the staff at this P.O. have always been exceptionally helpful and polite! As for the delivery drivers...I second what others have said about the issues with reported delivery attempts. Our street's mailboxes are at the beginning of our road. More often than what's acceptable, we will get attempted delivery notices (even 'final attempts' after never receiving even a first or second attempt notice). It has been evident by the fact that a) I have either been home all day and/or b) there is a lack of evidence on our home security cameras that these 'attempts' were actually made. I don't know if it's that the carriers are rushed or it's just sheer laziness, but it's unacceptable for customers to risk their important documents or packages be returned to sender because the carriers didn't do their job correctly.

Forced to give at least one star, otherwise I wouldn't have. Have had multiple certified mail sitting in this facility as well a Memphis TN, since April 19th. As these are Gov't payments, I will be submitting bills to the US Postal Service for all of the late fees, penalties and interest charges assessed by the IRS for their inability to do their job. It's not just this facility, it appears the whole agency is committing theft of services by charging a fee for something they don't or can't figure out how, to do .

I stopped in because I had to mail out a package but I knew my local post office would be closed for lunch at this time. This USPS was clean, well-stocked, and the staff was super helpful. Service was quick! I'm a happy customer.

Mailbox left open almost every day and often leaves the mail soaked and falling apart. It closes easy and is magnetic with a strong hold. I notice my neighbors often have their boxes left open as well. Ive had boxes twice as long as the mail box shoved in and having out over a foot and get soaked in the rain. I’ve had 3 packages not show up over the past few months even though the tracking says it arrived at the post office, was out for delivery and left on front porch. We have cameras around our house and no packages were delivered when they said they were. Hopefully somebody can see these bad reviews and straighten that place out.

It's hit or miss sometimes you are waiting forever in line sometimes you get right in. Unfortunately I had to stop getting mail at my physical address because my mail Lady was never satisfied how I shovel out my mailbox in the winter and too lazy to drive up the driveway and leave a package on the porch anytime of year.
