Fantastic Service. My furnace went out in February, and I checked my fuel level, I was out! I called and spoke with ********, and she told me I was "will call" and not automatic delivery. She talked to me about the benefits of being an automatic customer (most important not running out again) and that it didn't cost me anything. Sign me up! They had a truck in the area, and I had a delivery of heating oil within a few hours. Highly recommend RH Foster. Thank you, ********, for going the extra mile for me.

I have relied on RH Foster for over a decade to keep my furnace clean and my tank full of clean heating oil. They may not be the cheapest provider but I believe when it comes to home heating you go with the most capable and reliable. That's why I rate them with 5 stars.

R.H. Foster was called by my landlord to fix the heater because it wasn't a simple reset (which I do for him with a simple flip of the switch). They showed up, were here for 1/2 hour then left without fixing it. They left the door to the basement open and the light on so I assumed they ran to grab a part to finish the job. Here we are six-hours later, snow now falling and temperatures dropping. I am keeping the landlord informed and he was NEVER called with any updates or to be told there would be no heat tonight so we have six unhappy apartments and a pissed off landlord. Not too good R.H. Foster. Might want to work on your communication skills and teaching your employees that a half-finished job is an unfinished job and here in Maine, we finish what we start before calling it a day.

Penquis Cap made us switch our account from Dead River to RH Foster and then we have had to wait 2 days plus for an emergency fuel delivery. They said they would try to fit us in sometime Friday, so hen we've been out of heat since 02-04-20. They don't care about their customers and/or people in general.

Honor appointments. Both times we waited over a month. First time they forgot us, then showed up hours late and did half the job. Second time called at time of appointment and stated they didnt bother to get the parts. Wanted to reschedule Christmas eve. Nope!

Many thanks to service person Jeremy for the courteous and professional job he did in repairing our furnace on a cold December Saturday. We were so very happy with his work in our Bangor home and he was very kind in making sure work was complete and it helped us through a very difficult day..

I have been a customer for a year. I called this past Monday to get my first delivery of the season. The person who answered the phone acted like they had never heard of me before in spite of me having already been a customer since last year. Then, when I didn't get my delivery on Wednesday, I called -- not the first (or even second...) time I have had to "remind" them to deliver to me, and was told, "We're really far behind, it will be tomorrow." OK, fine, I can accept that, although and "I'm sorry," would have been nice. Thursday, no delivery. I call again, "We're really far behind, it will be tomorrow." OK.... so Friday comes, still no delivery. I call and after a bunch of literal hmm and hum and ums to the point that I was like, "Hello? Are you there?" I get told, "I'll call the driver and make sure they get to you today. Can you give me a few minutes and call back after I call her" (Not, "I'll call you back to confirm your delivery," a.k.a.: actual customer service....) OK. So, I wait another 45 minutes, call back for the THIRD TIME THAT DAY and get told I will get a delivery for sure. I say -- for the SECOND TIME that day the same thing I have said every day so far, "OK, but I need to know for sure that you are going to deliver. If not, you need to BE HONEST WITH ME because I will need to go buy some fuel and pour it in my tank, I cannot wait another week." Oh everything's all good. Sure it is.... so, a little while later, I look at my phone and I've got a VM from Pelkey. Oh good, my fuel delivery. NO SUCH LUCK. Instead, I have a message that says, "We have no record that you ever ordered any fuel. We won't be able to deliver today." So, I call back and say, "Um, I have called you EVERY DAY asking about my delivery, but today somehow you have 'no record' of my order???" After a bunch more hemming and hawing and excuses, the person on the phone says, "and we won't be doing 50 gallon deliveries any more, it's just not worth it." So, you had "no record" of my order, but somehow you knew how many gallons I wanted.... liar. You just couldn't be bothered. Why, I don't know. Maybe the rainbow flag hanging outside my house? When I asked why, the response was, "If you had any idea what we're going through..." Oh, I feel SO BAD FOR AN OIL COMPANY..... that apparently is financially strapped, but also REFUSED AN ORDER FROM AN EXISTING CUSTOMER WHO HAS ALREADY BEEN WITH YOU FOR A YEAR. Guess what: I will not be a customer any more. And I will be telling this story literally for years, to anyone, any time it comes up. DO NOT BUY FROM PELKEY OIL. THEY ARE LIARS AND A SHAM OPERATION THAT WANTS TO CRY POVERTY BUT THEN PASSES UP ON PAYING CUSTOMERS BECAUSE IT'S "NOT WORTH IT." I live on **** ** in Hampden, like 1 mile from the Bangor town line, there is NO WAY it is out of the way or inconvenient to deliver to me. no good thing to say after what they did to us today!!! calling a meeting for us to be told they sold our store and gave us walking papers!! nice really nice guys, after all we have all done to make the place a better place, and to all our customers... I'm truly sorry they made us lie to u guys, about renovations that they never had any intentions on doing!!!

Received super response today for an early morning emergency fuel request. Every person I spoke to (person who answered the phone at 5a, the dispatcher and the delivery person) were very pleasant and professional. Had our fuel delivery within the hour. Many thanks.
