So enjoyed my first ever beginners Yoga class with Kim Nixon. She made adjustments for me not being able to do the exercises on my bionic knees. Her voice is so very soothing and she is so accommodating. Now if I can figure out when to breathe in and out at the right time.

I attended the Prenatal / Postnatal Yoga class with Julia, and it was absolutely amazing. I have years of yoga practice under my belt, but this was the first class I attended since being pregnant. After delivery, my abs never reconnected, and I have been dealing with diastasis recti issues ever since, and have been scared to exercise for fear of making it worse. Julia was informed about this, and chose a flow and practice that was gentle enough, yet able to tone the needed muscles to begin to re-solidify my core. I chose to do the 4 class series after one class because I was feeling like this was the answer to me beginning to find confidence in trusting and using my body again.

I've only taken one class here, a beginner yoga class withJulia, and it was great. She is really good at instructing, and having a sense of calmness. I have interacted with her and briefly with Kim through email, and they are both responsive and helpful. Excited to try more yoga classes here!!

I have been to many many yoga classes at the River Studio. It is a great place for all types of yoga and suited for all types of people. I love it

Hands down my favorite studio. I always feel safe, zen and supported in my practice here. The space is inviting and beautiful.
