We are so glad we found the Lodge at Moosehead Lake! We loved everything about our 3-night stay. The accommodations are beautiful - the service is outstanding - the food is amazing - and the location is beautiful and unique. There are a lot of local experiences to keep you busy, and the quaint town has some great local pubs that are perfect for a drink and/or bite. We enjoyed sitting in the main house by the fireplace enjoying a cocktail and chatting with the owners and guests. This area is a beautiful part of Maine.

A wonderful B&B style lodge with a friendly staff and beautiful rooms. The lodge feels high end but not snooty. The staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. The attached restaurant is also a can’t miss for breakfast (included with your stay) and dinner (an extra cost but worth every penny). We felt tucked away from the world which is exactly what the parents of two young kids want on a weekend away from the kids. We added on the moose safari which was a highlight of the whole trip, our guide Ashley was knowledgeable and kind who made every effort to get us to see as much wildlife as we could (the canoe trip was one of the most peaceful moments of my life). We can’t wait to come back up to moose head lane and will definitely Italy be visiting the lodge again.

It's absolutely stunning. Excellent service. Very wonderful, hostess. Great view and very informative about all things wedding. We came to visit only, and to check out the grounds for our upcoming wedding. The lodges rooms were not available to see, unfortunately. Thanks so much!

Impeccable customer-friendly attention to guests! Owners Beverly and Larry were very helpful and proactively accommodating. Amazing sunset views from back porch deck! Excellent all-you-can-eat made-to-order breakfast :)

I have never I have never been treated so poorly upon checking in. Traveling all the way from California and driving into Moosehead Lake, we were "greeted" and I use that term loosely by Beverly who seemed annoyed and cold. Our attempt at polite conversation was shot down with chilly responses and an overall irritated demeanor.The room was odd as there was a refrigerator located by the toilet and a coffee machine adjacent. Unsanitary. There is a spooky energy as we never saw Beverly again and felt like she abandoned the place after begrudgingly meeting us for check in. No dining on the premises on the Wednesday we checked in, no food delivery allowed, and no warning to book the on premises dining in advance. According to another Yelp reviewer, the dining was not worth it to begin with. I wish we had checked Yelp before booking. Beverly ruined our stay.

As a 55 year old man who has stayed in hotels and BnBs of all types on 6 continents, I must say these are the rudest hosts I have ever encountered. I am not sure if it was my name, my Mediterranean skin or the fact that I was visiting from NY, but these people could not work harder to make us feel unwelcome. Unless you are a local you will not be welcome here. Avoid at all costs. At check in we were not informed the restaurant was only open part of the week. When we asked for a reservation at the restaurant the following night for dinner we were told there was no availability, despite being guests at the hotel. We then asked if it was possible to order dinner for delivery at the address, but we discovered no deliveries were allowed on the property. And we had not been informed that reservations needed to be made at the restaurant in advance (something we would have appreciated knowing anytime during the weeks prior when our reservation was in the books). The owner was dismissive to the point of being outright rude, and seemed to have no care whatsoever that her guests had no way of dining on the premises. In addition there were some issues with the room, like a used towel in the bathroom used by previous guests. But the overwhelming feeling was that we were simply not welcome, despite our cordial demeanor throughout. Avoid this place, when visiting Moosehead Lake, a beautiful area with plenty of other lodging options.

We had a four course dinner with minimal choices and tried things we normally wouldn't. The food was excellent as was the presentation. The chef brought our dessert and asked us about our experience. The lamb was outstanding as was the pheasant. Chilled pea soup was delicious. Dessert so good too . It was pricey but worth it.

We loved this place so much! The people were amazing. The room was great. The view was fantastic. We would definitely love to go back.On top of that, Chef Tyler fixed us one of the best meals we've ever had. My wife is vegetarian and said this was her favorite. My lamb dish was delicious. Everything was 11 out of 10!

My husband and I stayed in one of the suites during the off season and it was incredible. The room was clean, comfortable, and the fireplace was warming up our room upon our arrival. The staff was great as well. Looking forward to returning in the summer.

Amber and Kendall were excellent and made us feel at home. Visiting the lodge in winter was quiet, cozy, and just the relaxation we needed. Breakfast and dinner were delicious too. We'll be back!

The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed in was beautiful, clean and cozy. The king size bed was very comfy. The views were breathe taking. The food and drinks were Amazing! I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back again.

A cozy and comfortable lodge tucked away in a bucolic setting, this lodge is a gem. The four coursed dinner was exquisite and we loved having a full breakfast included every morning. Outdoor adventures await, or you can gaze out at the mountain view from your room. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had an amazing stay. And kudos to the team that mailed me a necklace I had left in the room! They went above and beyond. Thank you!

Rooms were very clean, nice setup. The grounds were beautiful, nice views and a great place to relax. Food was great as well. The rooms were a little pricey for the area, that’s really my only minor nuance to share. We had a fantastic stay. I was very happy to see that the innkeeper had guest safety top of mind. It wasn’t a free for all allowing anyone to enter the building, it was reserved for guest access and we felt very secure.What made the trip well worthwhile was the awesome Moose Safari!!!!! It really made the trip for us! Our tour guide was excellent, we had an enjoyable canoe ride, picnic by the water, saw some wildlife. While we were on foot, we saw two Moose!! We used the guide that the hotel reserves, he was excellent, really went above and beyond! Jackpot!!!!
