Leisure Life Resort & Trailside Restaurant
33 Leisure Life Rd, GreenvilleWhile this place is not perfect, it absolutely is a decent place to stay. I made 2 trips to Moosehead last year and stayed here twice. The first visit was a one night stay with 2 kids and another adult. We ate at the restaurant and spent the night. We were on the ground floor and could hear the people above us, but the AC helped that a bit. When I came back for my second trip, it was the two kids and myself. We stayed on the top floor, and I tried to make sure the kids didn't bounce around too much especially as we were there for 3 nights. We usually stay at another location (yearly trip)in Rockwood, but decided to start adding an extra night and staying here at Leisure Life. It breaks up our drive with the kids and gets us a nice start waking up in Greenville.
Rooms: 1 bedroom motel room with an ac, bureau and a wardrobe. Outside of the bedroom is a large closet for travel gear/suitcases ets. Across from that is the bathroom, which has a sink, toilet and a shower/tub. As you enter the motel room there is a kitchen with a fridge, stove top and a microwave. There is also a small dining table with seating. (Microwave is on the table)
Nearby activities: Outdoor activities abound in Moosehead Lake. Motel is close to downtown Greenville with fun stores like the Corner Shop and Kamp Kamp, as well as the ship The Katahdin (Kate).
Food & drinks: The restaurant has good food at decent prices. Alcohol is served here.

Stress Free Moose Pub & Cafe
65 Pritham Ave, GreenvilleMy family of 5 was in Greenville for 3 days and we decided to have lunch here twice because it was such a great experience. We had the same server (Natalie) both times and she did a great job - very friendly and excellent service. The atmosphere is lively - it was busy both in the bar area and in the small adjoining room. And the food is really good. Not just by small town standards but I'd be happy to be a regular at this place if it was in Manhattan (which is where I work). The burger is fantastic - big, perfectly cooked, juicy, flavorful (I had it with pepper jack cheese). Wings, fries, lobster roll, pulled pork, their giant pretzel with really good beer cheese, chili, chicken sandwich were all excellent. One of my sons even ordered their chicken parm (he likes to try them out at all sorts of places) and they had a unique take on this as the sauce was a peppers and onions sauce that was actually quite good! The grilled chicken caesar and the slice of galaxy cake that we had was good as well. Very good beer selection as well.
