“The Market was a nice place. If you are in to souvenirs then this is the place for you. I am not a big souvenir buyer and personally did not buy anything but my cousins who I am with did. My cousin Doug bought a pair of Moose slippers for his daughter. They are quite unusual looking. However the store is a bit on the expensive side.”

“A little of everything- but I particularly appreciate the local book section which is impressive and worth a look. Many books detailing the historic events in the region and wildlife of the north woods. A nicely laid out store and fun to shop.”

“We spent about a worthwhile hour here in the old fashioned general store atmosphere. There were the modern supplies for visitors (fishing, hiking, lighters...) but also a wealth of antique and vintage items that recalled an earlier time in a remote area. Such eye-candy! We were here on a rainy day in mid-summer, and while there were many visitors, we weren't on top of each other. The store has several rooms, which spreads out the people. The merchandise is packed in, the aisles are narrow. If you like to see items from the past--this is the place where you can see, or get them!”
