Lou is not only an amazing mechanic, he's also a great guy. Experienced, trustworthy and an excellent communicator. Lou worked with me to a find a solution to my A/C problem with my Highlander.
Lou is honest, and genuinely a good human being. If I hadn't been able to work with Lou directly I believe he would've helped my wife just the same.
Highly recommend, with just one note: Lou is a one-man show so if you don't get him directly, leave him a good, descriptive message about your issue.

This gentleman is not a dependable source of auto repair. Others have told me that he over charges. I went to his business with funds to pay whatever he charged within reason for oil change. He changed my oil once with the Amsoil that I provided. He instructed me to buy an oil pan plug from the Subaru dealership for the next oil change, which I did. When I called this unscrupulous mechanic to schedule my next oil change, he advised me that it was "Not in his business plan to do oil changes on vehicles when the owner provides the high quality oil. ? I find myself wondering what a dealership will find when they check that oil pan plug Lou instructed me to purchase? What did he not tell me? I'm suspicious that the dealership will find that Lou damaged my oil plug. I'm going to the dealership today and if I'm wrong I'll come back to this site and apologize. If I'm right I will be back to spread that news as well. Either way I will be back and meanwhile I urge you to be careful because this guy talks out of both sides of his mouth. Beware.

Been using Lou for many years. I know enough to be dangerous, and enough to know if the mechanic is honest. Lou is both honest and competent. I never get the BS ticky tacky charges for things that he knows I can do. He does point them out but asks if I want to deal with them though. Also, when I buy a car, I ALWAYS have him check it out first. Money well spent; he saved my ARSE just recently. So what else is there, great mechanic, honest and has the coolest Unimog ever!!!Services: Auto exhaust system replacement

I went to Lou's and he replaced my timing belt & fixed a problem with the steering that I didn't even know about. He did this for $100 less than my usual place.
