Don't do it! Customer service is terrible. Price is higher than anyone around and I heat my entire house with propane. If you need to talk to someone in service forget it. They never answer. You have to leave voicemails which they never respond to. Must call multiple times. We all know changing tanks is a pain so we procrastinate. I finally had to change in November when I needed a propane fireplace serviced. Unfortunately I had just had all of my tanks filled, 3 100 gls. and 1 50, a few weeks before. The new company I called was coming to service my fireplace, install their tanks and fill. They were 40 cents a gallon cheaper and I could actually speak to a human. After trying to get answers about when my old tanks would be picked up and charges etc., I finally settled on just having them picked up after my 3 calls and my husbands 1 call. They were picked up in the middle of December.January comes and I get a bill for tank removal but no credit for propane. I call. Leave a voicemail in service. Wait 3 business days and call again. The woman who answers the phone says I have a credit on my account. No one bothered to call or email. Lucky for me this will be our last interaction!

extremely disappointing service, every time. They are unorganized, shady, and regrettable. We have been met with hours of frustrated customer service due to technology issues on their side, that is "fixed" until next time where they have no recollection, and everyone we speak to seems lost as can be, so we have to do it all over again, every single time. Emergency services are in shambles, and the dispatch folks are seemingly also lost. The absolute worst of it all, we have been charged multiple times for the same delivery, which is thousands of dollars lost in one moment.. when we confront them, they are more concerned about this bad review coming down than getting us refunded. They are actually liars, we are left feeling so uncomfortable.Unprofessional, caused havoc, and definitely seeking other heating solutions moving forward.

We had to have our tanks replace and moved. Dodge energy was great they came in and surveyed a safer spot. We needed to change the start day, they worked with us and start date was changed to the following week without any issues. They were here early in the morning like they said. The team worked all day and until the night they worked until 9 pm . The team worked very well together. They did not leave any trash behind, returned the earth to look as close to its natural state. Mind you they had to go down a hill thru the woods. We've had dodge energy to a few projects for us. They have came out to our residents when called no problem very knowledgeable and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone. MLK

I’ve been a Dodge Oil customer for 13 years, and I’m grateful for the consistently great service the delivery guys, the technicians, and the customer service staff provide. There are many reasons I’ve been a long term customer. My automatic oil deliveries are always on time; my annual furnace tune-up is scheduled promptly and is thorough; whenever I call with a question, the people I talk with are professional, courteous and helpful. AND, they respond to emergencies with skilled and knowledgeable technicians. Last year, I smelled something odd in my basement after an oil delivery. The Dodge Oil guys were at my house within an hour. My very old tank had a leak. They immediately brought in a holding tank, and addressed any safety issues. In removing and replacing the tank, they provided me with options, ideas, and fair pricing. They made me a priority. Thanks to everyone at Dodge Oil!

It's shocking this place has such a corner on the market when they continue to employ such a miserable customer service rep.

Near impossible to reach anyone at this location. We were not made aware they changed to digital invoices. We never received one, and today they sent someone to lock my propane tank. 30+ years have used this company. Never missed any kind of payment. Am currently working to change propane providers. Have already places calls to local others.

The only reason I give Dodge even one star is because of their service techs who are always wonderful. The office staff on the other hand has been abysmal since the company changed owners. My propane tank had no gauge on it and when I asked about getting one I was given attitude by three different people; when it came time for my appointment no one showed up, come to find out they had discussed it with my landlord who said he didn't make an appointment. So glad I moved and have better service with a different company.

I have only good things to say about this company. Always there when I've had issues. Never have to wait for an emergency call. Been with them for 10+ years....

All of my will calls deliveries have been completed within 1 to 3 days. I’ve had them out for some basic service a few times and I’ve always felt like they were being honest and fair

I have been a frustrated customer of Dodge Oil for 20+ years. We heat our house with propane. It is not easy to switch companies when you do this. We are auto delivery for propane. We ran out of propane in the middle of the night January 29th. At the time the register on the propane tank said we still had 80 lbs/gallons of propane. The flame kept going out. I called Dodge Sunday morning to find out that it would be $200 for a service call and we would have to pay for travel time which was another $200. If we waited until Monday we would not have to pay for travel time and the rate would $100'ish. We opted to wait. They showed up Monday morning and the gentlemen was very nice. He could not get the propane stove going. He went out to the tanks and discovered that they were empty. Apparently when he shook them the register went down to zero. Fast forward to this past Monday (February 21st). I checked our propane level and it is down to 20 lb/gln. I called Dodge to see when they could deliver propane to me. The woman I spoke with was very nice. She said they could be here on Wednesday (Feb. 23). I just called them and the same woman said the driver cancelled my delivery for today and he would deliver by the end of the week. I can't stress enough how frustrating and completely anti customer this company is. I am quite sure we will run out of propane again! Second time in one month! What is the point in having automatic delivery if they don't deliver the product automatically BEFORE you run out. I will be looking to switch to another company this spring/summer. This is not my first experience running out of propane with Dodge Oil. They desperately need to get their act together.

I AGREE WITH EVERY ONE STAR REVIEWIf there was a minus star I'd use it, the customer service is horrendous, it's even worse than that!! I'm sure the owner who passed away last June didn't realize his employees would run the company into the ground.. When the electricity went outfit a few days I called for a fill, I had to call 5 times and was told because I had a generator I was no longer eligible for automatic delivery, Most EVERYONE in Maine have a generator must have been lots of people calling at least 5 times a day.Needless to say The Customer Service is on Life support, when the new owners take over, let's HOPE that's their Top Priority, they lost me, and my new company makes it real easy..
