“5 stars are not enough to rate westgate! They are very awesome team. Tony is a one in a million mechanic that is very honest and helpful. I went to their shop to diagnose if my car has a bad O2 Sensors. Tony offered to do it for free! A day before that I was in another service center near my area and the guy will charged me 146 per hour for diagnostic alone and quoted around 400 to 500 if there are sensors that needs to be replaced. I refused and thought I would rather drive an extra miles to reach Westgate than paying a seemingly overcharged service! “This place packs a lot in a small store. Gas is usually one of the best prices around and pumps are 24 hour. FREE AIR! yes folks, one of the few places where you can fill your tires for FREE. Dunkin' with a drive-thru and inside seating. Also a hot deli serving up chicken nuggets, fries, etc. which seems to cater to the lunch crowd as it shuts down in the afternoon. Pretty good deals on pizza. Beverage selection is great, everything from milk to bourbon. Decent selection of grab and go items. Friendly staff.”

“Regular shopper for the last 5 years. Great place to stop for a bite to eat, or grab gas. Pleasant customer service experience every time; Jess has been there every morning for the last 5+ years. She does a great job with breakfast, and greets the customers with kindness. It does seem like the management at this establishment could treat their employees better; often times they work 6-7 days a week, and deserve to be compensated fairly. Overtime doesn’t cut-it for people that give it their all every day of the week. Please give them more time to be with their families. Only thing I would make note of for new customers; the listed hours online are wrong. The store is never open @5AM, but is usually open before 7AM.Often times on weekends they open a little later as they are short staffed and it’s typically just one person working in the morning. This person has to do all the prep work and cooking too, so they need a little more time to get ready before opening the doors.”

“1st time I pulled in to get gas I did not know that they pump the gas take payment and wash your front windshield wow been many years since I have experienced that type of service.Also used the car wash. Attendant rinsed the car first with the power sprayer then the auto car wash did the rest. They have a vacuum that you pay to use to vacuum your vehicle yourself. Free to use air tank to fill your tires. The employees there are very friendly. Definitely recommend.”

“While visiting the area, a friend of mine and I, had to fill air into our tires and somehow managed to give ourselves 3 flats. We asked the gas station attendant to assist us, and he, being an individual of above average kindness and patience, agreed to help the bumbling idiots in their plight. Not only did he not laugh at us for our obvious buffoonery but he even apologized for taking “a long time” to fill our tires. If I could rate this gas station higher I would. 8/5, Thank you, kind sir.”

“I personally think this is the best Shell station throughout the areas of Bangor, Brewer, Old Town, Hampton, Holden, etc. The store is very clean, staff friendly and kind. And the one thing I noticed as well recently to share is that I log my gas intake, cost and miles before fill-up. THIS station seems to have good fill-up. Let me please explain: I went to another Shell in the city. I won't say where as I don't believe in slandering stores. But I started at 58 miles at fill-up. I paid $28.00. The gas cost was $3.12. but my fill-up only went to 328. I drive the same milage everywhere. Yet at THIS Shell, I filled up with 80 miles to start. The cost was $3.14 (more expensive this time throughout the city). My gas went up to 350 miles in the reserve and I only paid $25 (the only difference between a 56 mile beginning fill-up and an 80 miles fill-up is 22 miles!). I should have had more gas at that other Shell station. My point is that I don't feel ripped off here at all. I question if others have a way of doing this. According to my records, my guess is, "Perhaps they do." It almost always seems my tank ends up MUCH FULLER when I go here. Plus their bathrooms are always clean and pizza fresh! I've been to some other Shells...well, I won't go there. Thank you Shell Wilson Rd.? I think you're awesome!”
