Amazing staff and beautiful pieces, not your everyday tourist trap. It’s worth it and I’m not at all into pottery (my wife is). Cool kerosene and oil lamps/candles as well.

The order was shipped promptly. More importantly, the Ikebana "seconds" I ordered are gorgeous - and flawless (to my and my husband's eyes). I will certainly order again, when I need to find a special gift.

Phenomenal pottery, very good prices. If you're in the Georgetown area you should definitely stop, it's also worth driving a little bit out of your way. The salty balls are super cool and they have a variety of other decorative and practical pottery. They also ship for you to avoid the risk of breaking in your luggage if you're flying out.

The pottery dishes and serving pieces we bought are exquisite. However their customer service is terrible. I bought and paid for some additional pieces 4 months ago. Despite 5 phone calls on my part and multiple promises on their part I have yet to see any of my new order.

Georgetown Pottery has beautiful pottery in a range of colors and styles that I haven't come across elsewhere. There are loads of dishware, as well as pots and vases for plants (a truly surprising variety of containers for plants to me!), as well as assorted decor items. Everything is made right here, on-site - seeing the artisans at work can only be done through windows of the workshop right now [July 2021], but it looked like the workshop may have been more open to guests before the pandemic. The staff is friendly and helpful, and all (I think) items can be special ordered and shipped. We ran into a few incomplete items when purchasing on site, which was a little frustrating. However, the staff worked to find the missing parts or alternatives. We actually bought a fountain where the fountain itself was a different color from the bowl since the other parts couldn't be found; even the fountain part that was found had to be tracked down by the staff since none of the available fountains had one.) The showrooms are two buildings and a breezeway around the workshop. Parking is a free-for-all in the small lot, but it didn't seem too bad in this pretty but somewhat off-the-beaten-path location.

We visited this, the original, location recently and were quite impressed by the quality and originality of the various pieces of pottery. How impressed you might ask? Enough so that our dining room table is now sporting a new, though the old has been retained, Ikebana.

After an E-Mail request to order a G12 Shaving Scuttle and ship it to germany I get the answer, that it is possible. I just had to give them my full address. It take a day or so to get a quote to germany, they (Jess) said. I did so and get no answer after that. A couple days later, as I asked again, if they get my last E-Mail, I get no answer. It is now 10 days ago and I ordered somewhere else a similar Shaving Scuttle. That is in my eyes bad support.
