“Man, they were fast. Odd hours, but holy smokes, felt like I sat down in my sleeper, and ten seconds later, they're done. Had to check it out for myself. Unbelievable!!! Truly grateful”
“Their gas prices have been $.30 - $.40 cheaper than anywhere else throughout this high inflation time. Their pump-first, move, and pay, honor system is like a step back in time. Staff are friendly too.”

160 Brunswick Rd, Richmond“I was a bit reluctant to try Charleen's in Richmond due to the fact that you have to go into the store to pay for gas. I'll be honest, I like to go to self-serve, pay at the pump and get out. Here you do need to go into the store but they make it as efficient as possible. They are so busy that they have you pump your gas then move your car ahead before going into the store to pay. They ask that you let them know how much you owe them when you get into the store. This allows others to pump their gas. It is a Fabian gas station. During the increase in gas prices recently, Charleen's prices were ALWAYS lower than anywhere around. The prices were not just a little but a lot (30-50 cents a gallon) lower. They want to give the savings back to the community. There were times when the gas was $4.50 gallon at other stations and I don't think it ever went over $3.90 here. Let me tell you, the owners are awesome. They are friendly and inviting. They love dogs and are fine if you want to bring them into the store. They offer a variety of sundry items, beer, milk and even local baked goods. It is hard to rave about a gas station but if I am going to, it is absolutely going to be about Charleen's. This store/gas station and the people who own it are the best!”
“This charming market is not just a store; it's a vibrant canvas for cocktail artists and beverage buffs alike. Upon entering, you are greeted by rows of gleaming bottles, each promising a unique taste adventure. The market's standout feature is its extraordinary collection of "extras" that elevate a simple drink into a masterpiece. The variety of cocktail garnishes - from organic citrus peels to exotic spices - is both impressive and inspiring. It's a paradise for those looking to add a twist to their concoctions. But the real game-changer is their assortment of bitters. Whether you're a classic Angostura fan or in search of something avant-garde, this place has got you covered. The staff, knowledgeable and passionate, are always ready to guide you through this flavorful labyrinth.”
“I work here, know a lot about this place quite well. The only things I don't like about it: parking lot is NOT flat; this is also public parking, so events held downtown use this space for parking (for example, the Great Race 2024)”
