Freeport Wild Bird Supply
541 US-1, FreeportI had a great experience on the free bird walk this Saturday. Thank you Derek! Afterwards visited the shop and found some lovely things to take home as a souvenir back to Belgium. Through the viewing window of the shop I could see my first bluebird. Recommended stop!

Brown Dog Inn
24 Crown Ct, FreeportGreat experience for the dogs. They came back in good spirits and well balanced. Also Brown Dog Inn was able to keep them a few extra days when we fell ill and could not get back home on the original schedule. Awesome service!

Whole Dog Camp at Bliss Woods Farm
136 S Freeport Rd, FreeportWe're taking our puppy and new 12 yr old rescue to classes and it's the perfect training facility. We don't have a fenced yard so it's also fabulous to be able to bring the dogs over for free runs when no one else is there. Jenny knows dogs and is super nice as well. Highly recommend.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
Stars & Stripes Brewing Company
8 Varney Rd, FreeportWhat a fun time! We were visiting Freeport and stopped in for dinner and drinks. My husband had a beer flight and he said all his choices were great and I had hard cider. They have seltzers and some cocktails in cans for us non-beer drinkers-thank you! We both had the burrito bowl for dinner, which was delicious. I have celiac and it was great to be able to have food and drinks at a brewery. My husband is also a veteran so it warms our hearts to support veteran owned businesses. We loved that we could pay it forward and "Buy a Vet a beer". What a wonderful idea! They have quite a few games available to play while you are hanging out. We sat at a big table, played cribbage, sipped our drinks and had dinner. It was a perfect, relaxing evening. Thank you Stars & Stripes Brewing! We will be back the next time we are in Freeport!

Tuscan Brick Oven Bistro
140 Main St, FreeportMake sure to make reservations bc the wait for 75 minutes (our own fault). With that said they text you when your reservation is ready so we went to LLB and did retail therapy which worked out. Server was nice. Lobster bisque had chunks of lobster. Spaghetti and meatballs were fantastic. We had a baked focaccia as an appetizer. I would highly recommend. Big parking lot out back.

Antonia's Pizzeria
193 Lower Main St, FreeportA busy Saturday night in Freeport - our "go-to" spots were packed and I'd heard good things about Antonia's. GINORMOUS portions, but really tasty - we had enough for lunch the next day. It was a birthday celebration for a 9 year old, and our server took it in stride. One thing that was kinda odd was the pastrami - it was flavorful, but the roll seemed wrong. The stir fry chicken had a greek dressing that was surprisingly good. I'm not sure the onion rings were worth the calories. Considering that the place was packed, our server was great, and, best of all the 9 year old was happy!
