While some feel the quality has gone down and items can be pricey, many find the products well-made and worth every penny, noting that some of their stuff is still excellent. The famous return policy has changed. The customer service, however, is consistently highlighted as the best, with employees being very friendly, helpful, and polite, always offering a helping hand. The store has a magical, fun atmosphere, especially during Christmas with a beautifully done winter wonderland display. Have always always always loved this company, the quality of product, and the style of the products! I wish I could buy all the women's products offered by LL Bean! Just quality and great customer service! My husband got me slippers for Christmas a few years ago, and they still look brand new!

It was my first time shopping at the employee store since becoming a seasonal employee. It was so much fun! So many great deals. A very nice employee spent time explaining how the prices work. He was very helpful! I can't wait to go back.
