I recently interviewed with Kennebec Savings and was offered a position with the bank. During the offer I was told that both a background and credit check would be completed. I explained to the HR representative that my credit had taken a hit over the last 18 months due to a recent separation. I was told that I would have the opportunity to explain what had happened, but when my credit check was returned I was told we can no longer offer you a position. My credit has been impeccable for over 20 years, but due to a recent separation I was no longer qualified for the position. Sad to think that a company would turn away a qualified candidate because of credit.

My experiences with Kennebec Savings Bank have all been stellar. Friendly customer service, recommendations on services and products, as well as a genuine respect for my time which is something I truly value. I would love to shout out Gary Lapierre who has always been service oriented and "on it" I highly recommend!

I love banking with KSB! I have my mortgage through them and they made the process seamless. I also have all my regular bank accounts with them and I’ve always been so impressed by the personable, friendly care each time I go in. Cathy is the best! Their mobile banking is super easy to use as well. So glad I found KSB!

When a bank exhibits the kind of customer service that I received tonight at 8:00 p.m. on a Friday night when I was locked out my account, is the moment they have gained a lifetime customer. I was totally panicked, thinking I can't wait till Monday morning to see my account. I need to pay bills.....I need to see where I'm at. When I wrote on their Facebook chat, I never thought anyone was going to get back to me until Monday. I was frustrated as all get out. When my phone beeped moments later with a KSB representative asking me my name and phone number so they could contact me..I was estatic and amazed...especially when within minutes they had my account unlocked !! I am a forever KSB customer! thank you to your Friday night FB monitor. I appreciated you tonight! Well done KSB!!

I have done business with KSB for over 40 years. No matter who I have dealt with and on any level, the personnel of the bank has always been helpful, transparent and forthright. The Bank's reputation is beyond reproach.
