I showed up to check out the Saturn Sky that was upfront, and the first thing the guy says to me is “Can you even fit in it?” I am a rather large guy, but the tone and everything came off as completely rude! Not to mention he didn’t even have the key to the Saturn! I know for a fact that this Saturn has been here for at least 9 months… On top of that, I asked about the Silver Jeep’s price by the door and all I was told was “a lot, and there’s a reason why” never was told what that reason was. A lot of the cars are overpriced, and my few minutes up there told me all I need to know about them ?

Please avoid buying a vehicle from here. The vehicle I purchased from here broke after a few months. Buying the vehicle itself was difficult enough. It took almost a month to officially have the keys handed over after being lied to several times about when the vehicle would be ready and then knowing the time constraints we were under to purchase the vehicle. Not only that, the things that were promised to be fixed in the car before purchasing (frame and alignment for example) were not actually fixed. Rather, they spray painted the frame so that it would pass inspection. The car barely lasted 5 months before major issues began to arise. Frame braking, completely rusted frame, gas tank falling out, major alignment issues, and severe inward tire camber. This has ultimately led to the car having to be scrapped while I’m left to pay off a car I can’t use.

Do NOT and I repeat DO NOT EVER buy a car from maine Avenue auto service. Horrific customer service! Just came to pick up a car my daughter had picked out and ready to purchase and refused to sell it. Was told would be ready in a week to 14 days. Told them I wanted to see the underneath to ensure it wasn't rotted out...asked to send pics while working on it even. Said we could pick up yesterday and to no avail the car still wasn't ready. Called to go pick it up and asked once again to look underneath and told me I could crawl on the ground to look. Mind you I have a sprained and broken ankle! I asked to take it to my shop, they refused, they said I could take it locally...I said ok, who do you work with that I could take it to? Told me I'd have to find someone that wasn't busy...either I was to buy the car or not and he was not going to allow me to harrass him. I drove all the way down there again today (only because of my daughter)and then refused to sell it since the other guy told me "14 times he had no bay to put it up for me to look at". Except when I pulled in there was NO car in the bay.

Billy and Kevin are the greatest. I was in need of a new car ? and our daughter told us about this place so we went for a ride and I'm so glad we did. They were very kind and very helpful. I told them what I was looking for in a vehicle and they found it for me. We had just a couple of things that had to be done, they were amazing to work with. I can now say that I am the proud owner of a Rav 4 and I love it.thank you guy's so much ❤️ ? ?

These guys are shady and should be out of business. 3 friends bought from here all lemon.
This place sells Overpriced junk cars that aren't worth the prices on the window.
They don't finance fix or sticker anything how they are still in business is beyond me. Find me me one stickered car in there lot I'll wait advise go elsewhere

Bought a car from there less then a year ago have had nothing but problems when it had problems the first month I brought it to them and the small bald dude who I think is the owner then called me a liar paid 6 grand for car less then a year later I’m stuck looking for another car horrible service and product

A tire on my car went completely flat as I was driving from Gardiner to Augusta. I pulled into Maine Avenue Auto Sales for help. The two gentlemen there could not have been more helpful or kind. One of them first tried to put air in the flat. The tire had a hole in it so it wouldn’t hold air. He then proceeded to take the flat off and replace it with my spare. The other gentleman called VIP in Augusta and they got me right in to buy four new tires. Kindness and caring like that is rare today. I am sincerely grateful for theirs.

Kevin and Billy are some the kindest gentleman you will have the pleasure to talk to. Very honest and will go the extra mile to ensure you get a nice reliable vehicle. Kevin fixed my car for me even after the warranty and went the extra mile to make sure my car was %100 you buy a car from them you’re not going to get the run around and they can assure you that you’re getting a reliable car. Very good kind hearted people. Definitely recommend.

Bought my car almost 4 months ago from Maine Avenue. There were a few small "problems" in the beginning but Kevin & Billy were very responsive and took care of any issues in a timely manner. They went above & beyond to honor their 30 day warranty. Thank you Maine Avenue team!

Was promised a job here after meeting multiple times. Passed up on a different job opportunity to work here as I was told. The day before I start they tell me they are “going to move a different direction.” Absolutely careless and classless. I have never left a review anywhere but this was something so ridiculous.

My experience buying a car here was somewhat pleasant somewhat not, Kevin and Russell have been okay towards me however I have had nothing but problems with my vehicle since buying it 2 months ago (November) I drove it off the lot and my ABS light immediately comes on I call and tell them, they tell me it's probably just dirt in the sensor. Yeah Im no car freak but I know that's not how that works. 3 months later and 11 trips back to the dealership to have it fixed I have four new wheel bearings, and one n sensor. My check engine light is still on my ABS light is still on and my tire pressure light is blinking. They are avoiding my calls and I'm about ready to get the law involved. They obviously sold me a lemon and yes they are trying to fix it, but they're obviously not trying that hard. They have pushed me on to the back burner and can't get my car fixed until a week from now. I went in yesterday (Feb 10th, 2022) and spoke with Russell, Kevin was not there he had already left for the day, and I told Russell that I either want a refund or a new car and he told me he would contact Kevin and have Kevin contact me and they would price out different cars within the same price of my current one. Here we are day later, I haven't gotten a call, I've called four times and nobody's picked up which is an often reoccurring issue and reading through the reviews it seems like I'm not the only one who doesn't get their calls picked up. I'm hoping for the best and hoping that they can resolve this as I don't have to get the law involved but these issues have been there since I bought the car they told me they would fix the issues and they have not. I was even told that unless the ABS light comes on and stays on permanently there was not much they could do for me (that was quickly taken care of) that's when I lost it and they are doing everything I think they can to fix it now. I will say I will not be buying another car from Kevin or Russell and there is no way my car should have a sticker but as long as they make things right we are good. I do recommend that if you personally vehicle from main Ave Auto sales that the first week of having it you take it to a respectable mechanic have them do a deep look over of that car and tell you exactly what you need before that 30 day warranty expiries. I wish I had. Edit: After all said and done and 11 trips back the the dealership later, they are replacing the car.

BUYERS BEWARE! My cousin purchased a Ford car from Kevin from Maine Avenue Auto sales. Less than 3 months later it needs tires (it needed tires at the point of sale) and the transmission has issues. No call from Kevin, no help from Kevin. She is paying a note for a car she hasn't been able to drive for over 2 months. If you want a piece of junk and no assistance when it breaks down Kevin is your guy.

Drove down 3 hours to them and it was well worth it! Got our first car from them in 2021, runs great! and just went back for a second one this year! Great guys! Definitely our go-to for used cars!

I got a car about 2 months ago. Had some problems with my car but I went back was very nice and told Billy & Kevin my car issues. Kevin worked hard on getting my car done at a reasonable time frame. My car sounds better than when I took it in.Thank you both so much you have no idea how thankful I am!Tina
