For me, Shaw’s is too expensive. Regular prices are .50 to 1.00 and higher priced more than other grocery stores. Therefore, sale priced items are still above, and is not really a sale.

Warning, this Shaws says they have a Post office inside but its not a real post office. Lazy staff unfamiliar with how to perform basic tasks.

I may not return to this Shaw's store.
Although prices are higher than competitors and it's chronically understaffed, I shop at Shaw's for a few hard-to-find items, and a handful of weekly sale items on super-sale, often with digital coupons. These are great bargains -- IF you use their online coupon app. I don't have a working smartphone, so Shaw's helpful cashiers usually adjust those items down to the advertised digital-coupon sale price for me. It took a minute to do, but it was never a problem... until this weekend.
This weekend, the cashier got a manager I'd never seen before, who said they haven't done that in months, which is a bald-faced lie. Instead, I'd need to set up an account online, clip the coupons online, and then come back to do all my shopping again.
I'm disabled. I already spent all my energy that I had left for that evening and half the next day, trekking back and forth across his understaffed store for over an hour, locating and gathering all the sale items I needed for a nice holiday dinner.
Instead of adjusting the sale item prices like usual, this manager helped me go through my cart and pull out half my order to return to shelf, because it was mostly digital coupon items, where I needed the app or an account. Then I realized that we had just removed most of my holiday brunch and dinner from my cart, so there was no reason to keep the impulse purchases I'd added to round out my holiday. So I removed another quarter of my order, and gave that back to him as well. All in all, I believe he helped me unload about $50 to $100 of food from my cart, and inspired me to write this lovely review about his store. And to shop elsewhere.
The next day, I bought my holiday dinner at a more agreeable grocery store chain.
Falmouth businesses seem to have an attitude toward anybody who's not rich. This is a lousy attitude in its own right, but in a state that still has an awful lot of people who are Not-rich living here year-round, it seems a poor business decision.
For the record, the manager did start to look a little chagrined as he took back my holiday roast, vegetables, and fruits, and watched me purchase what was left with EBT /SNAP.
But his chagrin does not give me back my holiday dinner, nor my hours and energy wasted going through sale flyers and limping around his store to collect my cartful of food.
It's not just that he wouldn't give me the sale price, it's that he lied and said they hadn't been doing that for months, when they actually have been. Well, now I know! Goodbye, Falmouth Shaw's!

I was at this particular Shaws for the first time in over 10 years and it felt like I walked through the doors on to another planet. I have never seen such a beautiful store..., everything was clean, shiny, you could see your face in the floor, and all shelves were impeccable, it was weird but in a fun way. Shaws... I'll be back...

My friend bought me a Starbucks gift card for christmas and the card has no money on it. After calling the store multiple times and going in as well, shaws has decided to say they have nothing to do with it and will not refund or give a new gift card. The gift was bought by a 17 year old girl who doesn’t make much money but chose to spend what she has on christmas gifts for her friends and family. Shaws has ripped off this 17 year old girl and is refusing to help out in any way. I, along with family and friends, will not be shopping here again. This is beyond rude and frustrating. I have called Starbucks and they agree it’s Shaws who needs to resolve this issue as the gift card was bought at Shaws. I will not be supporting a company who rips off kids from their money. I hope Shaws will read this and decide to fix their mistake and refund my friend who they so horribly ripped off for Christmas.

I usually like Shaws but the older overweight lady with long grey hair that works here is pretty rude. When confronted about her rudeness she just said that she knows better because she’s been here 20 years. She must have stopped her customer service training 20 years ago as well.

Shaws was a mediocre value at best. Now that they don't staff registers at all, i’m moving my family’s shopping elsewhere. No love of the customer
